Generator works as advertised. Starts very easy with electric starter. Very little assemble work. Handles just about A load with very little loss of RPM. Would buy this all over again if I needed another.

With the exception of one part missing in the shipment, the generator went together easily. The instructions were clear and well written. The missing part was sent quickly with no hassles. It runs my home with no problems.

I would tell everybody that you build a awesome generator,starts 2nd pull, low noise, it is bad to the bone and if you don't buy generac I feel sorry for you because I love mine

Generator was easy to set up. Added oil and fuel. Motor started on first pull. I ran it for 20 minutes with torpedo heater and shop vac pluged in. Should be ready if power goes out.

Lost power for 7 days ran this unit 24 hours a day with no issues. It provided good stable power and ran 8 hours before a gas refill.. top quality product

an excellent machine - power, easy start- easy maintnenance. one minor problem - time meter was faulty and was replaced under warranty. Otherwise a "ten"

Bought it for hurricane Matthew. Lost power for 24 hrs. Was able to keep refrigerators & freezer going. Able to watch satellite for news while neighbors lost cable. Very good generator for the price

Purchased the unit after a ice storm. Easy to set up, started on first pull. Power was off 2 days but we were able to keep the fridge and lights on. will purchase transfer switch and install ASAP

My current generac xp8000e is 12 years old - and has gotten me through many outages. I am retiring it to backup and replacing with the new model. Strange as it seems the $$ is about the same WOOT!! This model is much quieter than my old one :-)
