When the idle control is engaged and the generator has reduced its RPMs does the unit output frequency and voltage stay constant or is it reduced. An extended description of idle mode is desired.

The fuel valve was a little hard to understand how to properly open. Other than that minor hurdle, I love it. It is a tough, stable and reliable power source.

Bought this generator the day after Florence hit Wilmington. Ran it for 4 days. Performed flawlessly. With a little maintenance, this generator should do the trick for a long time.

My electrician installed a transfer switch for my house main electrical box and recommended the 6.5 KW General (8K Starting) for backup. The 30 amp connection was purchased separately.
