I am picky about flavored coffees but I love CC Mardi Gras King Cake! It has great body and is smooth, light and bright with subtle vanilla and a perfect amount of cinnamon. The flavor of CC Mardi Gras King Cake doesn't overpower the coffee as some other brands tend to do, which creates an artificial taste.

I received a bag for my birthday from a relative, and first thing I went to the website and purchased as much as I could. We're hooked, the taste, the body, the aroma is sublime! I used to drink this all the time when I lived in Atlanta and had it on auto delivery. Since moving to the west coast, I’ve been craving it. On subsequent trips to New Orleans is look for it — and then it dawned on me that it’s only available during Mardi Gras! We ordered 6 bags for auto delivery every month! Everyone that comes over for coffee tries to sneak a bag out with them - nice try. I watch my coffee stash closely!

This is the second year that our church purchased the King Cake flavored coffee for our annual Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper! I’m from Boston and had never heard of Community Coffee until I was hunting for king cake protein shake recipes online. I always make my shakes with cold brew coffee, and this flavor caught my attention. I ordered 2 bags to make the shipping worth the cost and awaited my delivery. This flavor makes a most amazing tasting cold brew as well as a delicious hot brewed coffee! I quickly used up all my coffee so I just placed another order for 2 more bags this time in 32oz size. I did think of ordering another flavor to try as well, but figured there is always next time! I’m hoping this flavor stays all year so I don’t have to store it and worry about it going stale.

Over the decades I've had a variety of favorite coffees. After a while each occasioned trying another brand, another flavor. That was until my daughter, Julie, in Monroe, Louisiana sent me a couple packages of Mardi Gras blend from Community Coffee. That, my friends, was love at first taste. Given it is a seasonal blend I promptly ordered a dozen packages shipped to my home in Nebraska. This year I ordered 18 more, most placed in my freezer for enjoyment over the year. I do enjoy it especially with some French vanilla Coffee Mate and a tad of sweetener. I now have no interest in trying another blend. Mardi Gras is a keeper!!!

I grew up in La, I moved away 16 years ago. My sister bought me king cake coffee a few years ago, so I buy some every time I'm home. This year, I want it to stick around longer, so I've bought in bulk. I love the rich flavor and add a little cream and sugar and it's like your drinking kind cake. Love it!

I am from Louisiana and had been drinking Community Coffee for years. The King Cake taste and smell was very vague, almost like it had no flavor added at all. Tasted like plain coffee. I have ordered this is the past, but this is the first time I have been disappointed by Community Coffee's quality. I will go back to my old coffee, Cameron's Coffee. Theirs is much more flavorful. I wonder if there was a mix up in the batches at Community Coffee.
