I bought this 7 months ago but just unpacked it and set it up the other day. Wheel kit was easy and I added the oil and some gas and pushed the start button. Cranked in two seconds and ran smooth. Also, it's extremely quiet. Old generator was a hand crank, hard to start, killed my back, and was very loud. Thanks for building a nice product.

I've been wanting a Westinghouse for years, mostly because of the electric start. Hubby said no because we already had a generator, and he "thought" Westinghouse ones were loud. My old one puked because it was 35 below so I got what I wanted, this Westinghouse, which starts up as easy as pushing a button and is actually quieter than my previous (H) generator which was a pull start and 30 years old. I love this Westinghouse, it will run all my necessary stuff...quietly! Having it on wheels is a giant plus for my old body too.

Could not be more satisfied with this generator. After purchase it was delivered in a timely manner and after initial set-up which was easy it started immediately. Its smaller and quieter than our previous other brand generator with approximately the same output and was priced competitively. Highly recommend this product.

Easy to assemble, worked great right after assembly. Have not used for an extended period as of yet. Easy to operate. It is a little louder than I had hoped. It would be nice if the description would include a noise level rating. Other than that, provides good power and is easy to operate.

I just bought this item a couple of weeks ago. Once it arrived I was able to unpack it and assemble it within minutes. Following the instructions for startup it was very simple to start and test. Looking forward to its protection this hurricane season.

This was purchased as a back up power source for our off grid home in Mexico.it not only looks great, its also èasy to start which is very important for my mom and I. We are both senior citizens so simple instructions are very important to us' both.it has plenty of power to run our entire household if necessary.

Did extensive research. No other deal can match this. Very pleased with the first peek after box opening - fine workmanship on a beautiful piece. Installed easily without reading instructions. Already installed the inlet, circuit breaker and interlocker before the purchase. Can't wait for the first power outage now. lol

Just received the 5300 with electric start, the quick setup instructions very easy to follow, includes everything -wheels, tool kit, oil and even a funnel ! Gassed it up - pushed the electric start ...... fired right up, average operating sound for a generator, ran smoothly, no leaks or drips ! Gave it a quick test with two 1875w hair dryers ..... no problem ! The WGen replaces a 3500w manual start , I can get spoiled with this electric start ! And like with anyone who buys a home generator "I hope I never use it" but in this New Normal , it will be getting it's use !

I PURCHASED THIS GENERATOR A WEEK AGO AND IT WAS RIGHT ON TIME. WE HAD A RAIN & WINDSTORM EARLIER THIS EVENING & OUR POWER WENT OUT AT HOME. I WAS ABLE TO USE THE GENERATOR FOR BASIC NECESSITIES (LIGHTS, FRIDGE, HEATER, & CELL PHONES) & THIS GENERTOR PERFORMED GREAT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EMERGENCY OR RECREATIONAL USE.

I bought this Gen 5300 a week ago. I already own a Gen 3600 I bought 2 years ago. Best and most dependable I ever had. Both of these generators always start the first pull of the recoil. The price of both was reasonable and competitive. I would recommend Westinghouse gens to any one. I love that Westinghouse pretexts their hens
