This is my second one .... First one wouldnt stay running took it to repair shop authorizes by Westinghouse they had it for a month couldn't get it to work . Westinghouse sent a new unit fired it up ran great. Put unit away 2 months later have a power failure pulled it out started it ran it for 5 mins plugged in my trailer it stalled and will not restart.

I bought this for a "just in case" to supply partial power to the house. Well, the hurricane hit and we lost power. Plugged in the generator and all was well for about an hour, then it stopped producing electricity. Engine runs fine, but no electricity. Now the warrantee is over and I get to buy another generator because I can't fiind anyone to fix it.

I purchased this WGen5300DFcv portable generator to use as a secondary power source during power outages. I unpackaged it from the box and followed the instructions for minor assembly, starting and operating. The instructions were easy to follow and understand. I hooked my generator up to propane and let it run for 45 minutes during that time cycling various electrical connections and items. Very pleased with this Westinghouse brand, this was my first purchase with this brand and based on my experience there will be future Westinghouse purchases made.

I bought this generated to use with my 30’ camper for when i go places without electric hook-up. I haven’t had the chance to use it for a full weekend but did the front yard trial run and it seemed like more than able to keep up. It’ll also be handy if i ever loose electric at the house.

We found ourselves having to purchase a generator because our electricity provider struggles to keep their client serviced. I purchased my Westinghouse Wgen5300s generator in Oct 2020. I is everything I expected. I appreciate the wheels and handle included in the price. My wife can even roll this unit around. It started right up the first time and everytime there after. I can fully load the house on this unit. I have a well for water and during a long power outage no water. So this unit has everything I need during an emergency.
