This is a nice generator and it makes me feel so much better knowing I won't be without power. We have many serious storms and I have spent a number of days without power. The electric start is going to be a great help.

I bought this generator to help power essential equipment in my home in case of a power outage. It was easy to set up and is very sturdy. It runs great and will help me stay powered up.

Purchased for Hurricane Prep. So far this seems like a good generator but the true test will be if/when a hurricane comes through. Have been through several hurricanes and without power for weeks so a good generator is necessary.

Easy to start lots of power for a smaller unit it has satisfied my needs so far up here in the northeast we loose power quite often so I bought this for my house

Purchased in October 2020. Recent wind storm here and generator was ready to be used. 4.5gallon gas tank, produces sufficient power for numerous small appliances.

Did a lot of study and decided on the Westinghouse 5300cv. Good features, transfer switch ready, enough power to run the essentials (like the refrigerator, lights, and fans) making power outages tolerable.

Bought this generator after having a bad experience with a craftsman generator. Instruction were easy to follow and oil and tools were included with the generator. Item started first pull and works great. Very pleased.

The previous generator I owned was a Champion and I had nothing but issues every time I used it plus it was difficult to get started and ran very loud. This Westinghouse generator is awesome and I especially love the electric start!

Just bought this and haven't yet needed it. But it passed most of my tests perfectly. The electric start is a bit inconsistent but that might be my doing.

Just received this generator, it barely needed any prep out of the box. Only concern is whether or not it needs to have the neutral removed, for hook up to a transfer switch
