Recently purchased the wgen5300s. Arrived in perfect condition and very promptly. Set up was easy and The instructions were clear. I gave it a test by plugging in two 1500 watt space heaters then added my miter saw. It worked as expected. Also tested the electric start as well as the manual pull cord. Both worked perfectly.

Bought this for hurricane season and unexpectedly needed it 3 months later when the power was out for a week due to Hurricane Beryl. Worked great no thanks to the instruction manuel. If I had any mechanical knowledge I would have known it there was inaccurate steps, but it took usage and the internet to make me realize what was wrong. Knowing what I am doing now makes it a very nice generator for what we need. Highly recommended.

Bought this generator for my elderly mother. Working like a charm so far! Easy to set up, engine starts like a dream (using the electric start, which was a MUST for her, and which frequently doesn't work on most generators), and gives an amazing amount of runtime for its gas consumption. I've also heard that the customer service team is excellent, though luckily I have had no need to test that for myself. One minor issue: The exhaust pipe is covered, and surrounded by a spark arrestor frame. So while I really want to add an extension to funnel exhaust completely out of the shed, I don't have enough available pipe to clamp an extension onto. I get why the team capped and covered the pipe, but this is an issue for a generator that produces a *huge* amount of carbon monoxide - like, it will fill a small space instantly with fumes that can kill you quickly.

My daughter and son-in-law were telling me how pleased they were with their recently purchased 5300SC generator. With the start of hurricane season here, I thought it was a good idea to have one of my own. As I am 96 years young, the electric start feature will definitely come in handy! I bought this on Dec. 7, and it arrived at my door on Dec. 13. Generator had no damage, all items were present. Easy setup, simple instructions. I ran it for 30 minutes today to make sure all was well. I am very pleased. I have not put it to good use, but I am very happy so far.

I bought this after recent power outages. The old generator had a pull cord only and I was not able to use it. I had to rely on neighbors and family to start it. With this new generator and the electric start, I'll be able to take care of things myself.

Used to power my 27FT Class C RV powers everything no problem each gallon lasts about 5 hours if the AC is not used. If it is used a full tank will run the AC for about 8-10 Hours. No AC in use then you will get close to 20 Hours run time from the generator. Overall a great purchase I would recommend you buy this model its great.

I received this generator, works great, the only issue I had is the frame was bent when I received it. It didn't affect the way it runs, but I was unable to lower the handle all the way down. I disassembled the generator, and once I had everything removed from the frame, I straightened it. After reassembly, it still works great.

Opened the Box; followed the easy to understand simple setup instructions. Added Gasoline, and started it right up (Started First Time), no hassles. Have used the generator a couple of times with ease. Would highly recommend purchasing a Westinghouse Generator

Bought this during the winter and just assembled and started. Easy assembly. Everything is included to get the generator assembled and running. Product quality is fantastic and the features are outstanding. Electric start is wonderful. Meter and fuel gauge are easy to read. I installed a transfer switch and purchased a 100' 30 Amp cord to run frig, gas stove freezer, furnace, Internet, and one room with computers etc. Overall much better quality, fit and finish than my previous generator. Highly recommend the WGen line of generators!
