I just purchased this generator so I can’t say how it works but it has some great features. I have a boat with a twist lock outlet. I will be able to use it there as well as at home. I really like the electric start switch and the run hours and maintenance schedule display.

I am certainly no mechanic and at age 65 I was not looking forward to putting things together. I was able to quickly put the necessary parts on and start it up. I have the electric start and it started on the second attempt. Much quieter than that old unit I retired. Very Pleased

I bought this generator a couple weeks ago after we just had a bad storm that knocked out our power for a few days. This should keep us up and running if it ever happens again. Lots of features. Plenty of power for the necessities. It was delivered right to my house and was easy to assemble. Only had to put on the feet and wheels. Haven’t had to use it yet but so far looks to be a great product.

Bought this for weather emergencies. Very easy assembly. Well built. Perfect balance of power, price, and portability. Not the quietest generator but that wasn’t high on my list. Enough power to keep essentials running for a few days if power is down.

Easy to assemble and start. Ran smoothly during the engine break in period. Arrived without damage! Ordered another brand and 2 units were damaged during shipping due to poor packaging. The Westinghouse unit had better packaging and was made with more solid materials than the competing brand.

So i bought this due to losing power iv used it nonestop and has giving me no problems the price was great in my opinion looked into company and saw they stand behind there product and i like that and they have ben around for a very long long time happy overall thanks westinghouse.

This model generator is extremely sturdy and well built. The shipping box was damaged on the outside but there is absolutely no damage or dings on the engine where the box was torn. The instructions are well written and the regular maintenance isn't difficult. I'm finally ready for the next prolonged power outage!

I bought the Westinghouse 5300CV generator a few weeks ago and I’m extremely satisfied with its performance. Upon receiving online purchase, WGEN5300SC Generator’s exhaust cover appears to have a dent on it’s side. Engine easily started via rope pull and push start button. Will be testing generator’s electrical output in the near future to determine if 5 stars is earned. Hope to receive generator’s cover soon.

We bought this because we have an older model generator that we're not sure how much longer it'll be around, even though currently it still runs pretty good. But we didn't want to be left in the cold so to speak. One of the best features was the fact that it has the electric start so no more pulling on a cord, Unless you just want to lol! Hubby really loves the muffler system. Great big bonus it has the pug in already on the system to plug in the RV, no adapter needed! We are very happy!
