This bed is wonderful for my husband who likes to sleep on anything rock solid and generally uncomfortable for the rest of the world. We spent quite a deal of money on this bed after lots of urging from a salesman about how wonderful it would be for both of us. It's not. I like to sleep on a cloud and want to sink into my bed. I thought I could get used to this bed and I cannot. We will be returning to our local Slumberland and getting a replacement of some kind that will allow me to sleep and not keep me awake in pain, tossing and turning. My 6 month old should be keeping me awake, not the uncomfortable new, highly expensive mattress we bought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered the split king with two extra long singles and it has been wonderful! I now do not feel my wiggle worm husband move around all night or getting in and out of bed. The edges are firm so you don't feel like you're sliding out the edge of the bed when getting out. The two mattresses stay in place with no problems. There is a split between the mattresses but barely noticeable. It is a little more effort to make but only because we have separate twin sheets so wiggle worm doesn't pull mine off all night. Be are both stomach sleepers so the firm mattress supports us in that position. Best night sleep I've gotten in years other than moving to another room when he kept waking me up! Make sure you try out firmness levels at a local store if you're ordering online.

Bed is pretty hard and then it sinks in at all pressure points and it's hard to crawl out of the holes. The sheets always pull off during the night. I always wake up with a back that is hurting and this is why I bought it to start with. I am hoping it gets better with age? Can't sit on the edge of the mattress without sliding off of it.

Purchased the Tempur-pedic Proadapt mattress 2018. This mattress is very comfortable however it sleeps hot! Cannot wear winter pajamas to bed during the winter because it'll be too hot. My husband and I spent a lot of money on this mattress and wish I would've researched it before hand. Been researching an air condition/fan to use with the mattress during the summer time. If I didn't spend so much money on it I would probably give it away and buy a new mattress.

We got our ProAdapt Medium Hybrid at the beginning of January, and I was a bit nervous because I heard that some people need a few weeks to adjust to their new Tempur-Pedic. But it was literally the best night sleep I had in awhile the very first night. Definitely get the medium hybrid if you're unsure on the level of firmness, and if you don't like that sinking in feeling. The added springs combined with the memory foam is perfect. Also me and my fiance are a bit on the hefty side and it's still holding up beautifully so don't worry about your weight. I also no longer wake up with back pain, so that's amazing. I know it's expensive, but it's worth it. I spent months researching mattress brands, and I realize that these things are pricey for a reason. Honestly if you need a sign to get it, here it is. Just do it.

As a kid, I always fantasized about getting a Tempur-pedic mattress, so once my husband started to complain about his back hurting on out 12 year old mattress, I knew what we needed to do. We went in for the hype of the purple mattress, but when that fell short in our support category, we started trying out the temper-pedic. The pro adapt firm, is FIRM, SO SUPPORTIVE. The first time I laid on it I laughed because it was so stinking hard, but after we crawled around "hands and knees" as directed by our salesman. I can say that this bed feels like it was MADE for me. It is so supportive but is forgiving in all the right spots!

I have gone through several high quality mattresses that did not live up to my expectations. After having major spinal surgery in 2019 with 7 fusions & 2 replaced vertebrae, I could not get comfortable on any of them. This mattress conforms to my body & provides me with a good night's sleep which I have not had in years!

I had a salesman that apparently wasn't very knowledgeable. I have a really bad back and wasn't sure if I needed a medium or firm mattress. He had me lay on a firm lux breeze and it felt really good on my back. He said they lay the same. I've had mine for 3 weeks now I have slept on it maybe 3 hours. I went to a recliner first night on it. It was so hard I don't feel like I even made a indition on it. I can not sleep on it. But yet I have to keep it 30 days before I can return it. I've talked with several sales people but they all tell me they are talking to the manager and will call me back. I haven't received the first call back yet. He also had me lay on the smart ergo base with the wave massage I was so excited to be getting that base. Yet he ordered and they brought us out the base with only one massage motor. So it just kind of vibrates. I also called about this and I was told I can't return the base. I'm very very disappointed in Tempura pedic this was my dream to be able to actually afford one of these beds. But I will never again deal with this company. It could of just been a bad salesman but after calling for 3 weeks now. And not one call back from anyone not even the manager. I've had it with the entire transaction. If I can return it all including the base as well. I will purchase something else. Disappointed in Ky.

I have degenerative disk disease in my entire spine and deal with constant pain. Back spasms are also an ongoing challenge I deal with. Before purchasing this mattress, I ended up having to sleep on our couch for two months. Now I am able to have quality sleep for the entire night. My back pain has gone from level 8 to level 3-4. It has given me much quality of life improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have slept on the Tempur pro adapt medium for 5 nights. I have never slept on a mattress like this before now. I had another brand that is basically springs and a little padding. The Tempur pro adapt forms around my body. It has the right amount of support but also the softness to be comfortable. It had been year's since I had slept through the night. Now I can say that I get a full 8 hours of sleep. My husband said its the most comfortable mattress he has ever owned. I go to bed before him and I don't even feel the movement from him getting into bed. I can actually feel a temperature difference in the new bed. It also comes with a washable cover. The only negative I have is the weight of the mattress. It definitely takes two people to move the mattress around but how often would you move a mattress around your room? Overall I am excited to have this mattress and I would recommend the Tempur pro adapt. Everyone should enjoy a restful nights sleep. We spend a good portion of our lives in bed. It should be comfortable. One more positive about this mattress. I use to have hip pain and I haven't experienced it since sleeping on this mattress. Take a chance and experience it for yourself.
