We ordered the soft mattress and what we received was an incredibly hard mattress. When it was delivered the setup men told us it was hard because it was cold and would soften in time. We didn't ask them about it, they told us just randomly. I'm definitely returning this mattress. It's terrible for anyone looking for a soft mattress.

My husband and I have problems sleeping like body aches and waking up during the night sweating. We decided to check out the mattress market to find a better choice for us. This is our second experience with TEMPUR-PEDIC mattresses. We purchased one in years ago and it is still in use today by another family member. We passed it along to another family member due to heat generated while sleeping. We were pleased to find that TEMPUR-PEDIC adapted to newer technology and incorporated COOL technology into the Pro Adapt mattress. The mattress is comfortable, however, it does not retain the coolness that was experienced as we tested the model in the store. We feel this could be caused by the TEMPER-PEDIC factory mattress cover we purchased and installed. Overall the mattress is good and we are happy with the performance. We believe the defining test will be during our high humidity, hot Florida summer that is fast approaching.

I have purchased way too mattresses in the past 10 years, searching for a good nights sleep. Finally, Tempurpedic Proadapt Firm mattress has given me reliably great rest every single night. Each night I go to bed and I think the mattress might be too hard for me, as I seem to lie on top of it rather than in it, however that thought lasts about 5-10 minutes and next I know, I'm waking up 8 hours later with no shoulder/ hip/ back pain. I also purchased the Adapt Prolo+cooling pillow and that, too, is a game changer for me ...no more neck pain. This purchase has genuinely changed my life for the better. No more Ibuprofen, no more Acetaminophen. I hope that everyone can find the relief I am enjoying.

I've been sleeping on a very hard bed for 30 years because of a bad back. The new ProAdapt Firm mattress has been great on my back, sleeping is sound and my back feels great every morning. I thought the mattress would be much harder living in the North East in winter, but it settles in nice a quick and I'm off to sleep before I know it..

From an engineer & doctor couple... this is our 2nd Tempur-pedic and it just keeps getting better with age, no kidding. Our 1st, a queen bought in 2012, is going to one of the kids, because we upgraded to a king. The only problem with this brand is you get so spoiled that traveling becomes a chore knowing no hotel, cruise, or other family member's mattress will be as comfortable; unless of course its a Tempur-pedic. Find one on-sale and pull the trigger; you won't be disappointed. Also, don't be afraid to go for the firm level.

I have been sleeping on this mattress for 3 weeks. It feels OK when I initially get into bed. But, I wake up after about 5 hours with pain in my hip & lower leg. Sometimes I also have lower back pain. I usually have to get up & go elsewhere to sleep for another 3 hours. I previously had an Adapt medium mattress for nearly 3 months. It was too soft, made turning in bed difficult & usually caused lower back discomfort. I would sink down into the mattress. I returned it & got the Pro-Adapt firm mattress. It is too firm & does not relieve pressure on my joints as I had hoped. I chose a mattress of foam & without inner spring coils, expecting a more comfortable bed. So far, it has been a big disappointment, especially after I paid so much money for it. I hope that it will become more comfortable with a little more time.

Awesome bed but when delivered left it at very high height; customer service said 'nothing we can do' and tried to do it ourselves but to no avail. Definitely buy the bed but be certain delivery does not leave until you try out all aspects and they will not come out afterwards.
