I chose TempurPedic primarily because I needed to try the mattress before I bought it. There are many "highly rated" mattresses that only are available online but I was not going to buy "sight unseen". The Flagship store associate added value to my purchase with her clear explanations and patience while I debated which firmness to get and went back and forth between the displays. There was also good followup because I did not purchase during my initial store visit and had additional questions. The "White Glove" delivery and 90 day trial were also important factors in my decision.

I have been struggling with poor sleep and snoring for the past 3 years, Ocasionally having lower back pain, thought it was related to testosterone or chemical imbalance but in the end it looks like it was always my mattress and sleep position. I generally would wake up for work at 5:30am and by 10:00am nearly every day would be dead tired and needing a nap. But because I couldn't, I would load up on caffeine, soda or snacks to keep me awake. Once I got home at 3:30pm I would finally get a nap. Right away within 2 days after I got the ergo and pro-adapt bed I was sleeping better, we raised the head up by only 2 inches or just enough my wife could still sleep on her side or stomach but where I could feel my sinuses were less restricted. Now we both sleep much better. She used to have stiffness in her upper back and occasional back pain. Now it is gone. Well worth the money we spent on it.

The queen TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm mattress is just what I was hoping for. A quality mattress made in America with quality sourcing, with the firmness that my 6 foot 3 230lb frame needed after 20 plus years of sleeping on a standard spring mattress. I wanted a firm feel and then to slowly conform to my body weight in just the right ways. It has only been 3 weeks, but I am just loving it and so is my back and body! Highly recommend this Firm mattress if firm is what you need.

I have had memory foam in the past so I assumed that the #1 brand would be even better. It is actually worse, I don't get how it could be so bad as it feels great at the store and when you lay down but overnight it puts pressures in all the wrong places and you wake up with massive pain. 3 people in our household and we all (and i sleep on anything) woke up in pain after using it for the requested month. Do not get it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome mattress, we got the soft in king size. It's funny because even the cats slightly sink into the mattress when they're sleeping on it. We've completely relocated our biggest tv and gaming consoles to the bedroom because nothing is as comfy. Definitely get an adjustable base to go along with it to get the full experience. 4 out of 5 stars because my girlfriend wishes it was softer, she's petite and I guess that could be why her experience is slightly different than mine. We got the king size because we were both used to sleeping on queen size mattresses by ourselves, so sharing one together wasn't a pleasant experience since we both stretch out and sleep in "odd" positions. Other than the softness level for her, I think this bed suits our needs perfectly.

All the TV ads and hype may be a bit exaggerated. I find my new mattress to be less comfortable than I had hoped. I wish I had asked about a softer model. I got the medium. It is not for side sleepers for sure. It also is not cooler as promised. For the large sum of money it cost, I would have hoped for a nice night's sleep and no aches in the mornings. Since it's still very new, I'm hopeful it will bring more comfort as it gets used more.

Not an easy process to file a mattress claim. You will be denied unless "there are 3/4" (inch) or greater visible indentations". Proper forms and photos were sent. Mattress is 2 years old. It's a lot of trouble to get nothing in return. The standard I paid for is not the standard of service I received . Claim was denied. Make sure you are aware of what you are purchasing and will get for the huge amount of money you will spend for a mattress .

I'm very disappointed, because the people who worked here told me that the medium hybrid would work for my height and weight as a side sleeper. I am 5"3 and 135 pounds for reference. My hips are very sore as I'm building up pressure points and I can feel the supporting layers underneath. This bed is way too firm for a side sleeper of my side. I wake up every day with a sore back sore ,sides and sore hips . I toss and turn all night long and have very bad sleep. I will say though it's not hot and it does not feel like you're on a heater or anything like that, I'm not a hot sleeper though so I'm not really sensitive to that. But that is only plus side I can think of. Unless you're a bigger person I warn you to not get this if you are a petite side sleeper, it is extremely firm and so uncomfortable.

I'll keep this simple, this bed is amazing. Motion transfer, ZERO. Really great when your spouse hops into bed like he's doing a cannonball. No, it doesn't sleep "hot". I'm a very hot sleeper and I stay pretty neutral all night. Also, the cool touch thing doesn't matter much once you put a mattress protector and sheets on, so keep that in mind. I've never experienced the "stuck in the mud" feeling. I'm a heavier sleeper so I was worried about this, but thankfully I can turn and get out of bed just fine. You'll have an adjustment period. I've never slept on memory foam and boy is it different. Not in a bad way, but you'll think that at first. Give it a few weeks. Pricey? Yes. But totally worth every penny. We both wake up feeling well rested and have more energy throughout the day. Sleep impacts pretty much everything you do, why not make life a little better?

Since owning my ProAdapt Hybrid mattress I now sleep straight the night waking in pretty much the same position I feel asleep in. No more tossing and turning throughout the night. The cooling technology that is incorporated into the mattress keeps me comfortable throughout the night, no more hot spots making toss around to find a cool spot on the bed. I love my Tempur-Pedic Mattress and suggest you check them out if your in the market for a new mattress.
