In the summer/fall I bought a LuxeAdapt soft. Slept on it for right at the full 90 day trial period. It was entirely too soft so I returned it and used my one return option to go with the LuxeAdapt firm. What a big mistake!! It is way to firm. There is no medium in this model and I could not swap out a 2nd time so I am stuck with it. What a hugh waste of money! I am having a lot of trouble with sciatica and other leg and back problems and I'm sure it is from sleeping on this mattress. I wish I had never bought it!!

Purchased our Temper-Lux Adapt in Firm, from the local mattress store we had purchased a knockoff brand from 8 years earlier. They were extremely helpful with our decision to purchase a Temperapedic Mattress. We love our new Tempur-Lux Adapt. With the new cooling technology, and layers of foam, it sleeps like a dream. After 2 months of sleeping on our new mattress. We don't wake up during the night hot, and we get up rested and refreshed after a relaxing night of sleep.

Night one: I love this bed. I was having severe pain down my right shoulder/arm sleeping in my old one. One night, and it's a significant relief. Life changer right here. Slept like a dream. I'm usually someone who tosses and turns and wow, just cuddled in and stayed put. Literally never want to leave. Counting down until I can go back to bed. I also have the adjustable base, and the angling option is fab. Worth noting the base arrives boxed, and the extra packaging does add to the dimensions. We had to take out of the packaging prior to bringing into my 2nd floor apartment- but was an easy install once the packaging was removed. Queen fit easily.

Honestly, I had purchased the Luxe Soft. It was a good mattress, but after only 15 months, it broke down in the center. Their warranty department did finally warranty it after about 20 pictures and 15 emails. Then I went to one of their stories and laid on all the beds...they recommended that I do this, which I agree with. The hybrid med with springs seems to be the best! Boy, was I wrong!! I can't even sleep on it as it is so hard! So I have zero sleep, a mattress I spent over 3000 on, and no refunds! All I want is my money back to get a comfortable bed!! If the first one didn't break down, and have to be warranted I would say it was ok-I honestly thought Tempurpedic would take care of me as a customer and they guarantee the best night sleep or do they?

Love the firmness- just molds to your body after a minute lying down. Hard to turn over , but love the support! Less tossing and turning! Only gripe is that it is SO expensive!

It is a pleasure to sleep on this new mattress every night. The low back pain that I have been living with is very much reduced - due to the support of this new mattress. I was looking for a good firm mattress to help with lower back pain. I went to my local reatleir in hopes of finding that perfect match, The salesperson at the store sold me on the Luxe Frim as the top of the line. Now the fun begins!!! I have not sleep since owning the Luxe I am waking up with not only back pain now I now have Neck, Sholder and leg pain as well. This mattress does not live up to the expations that I was sold that night. I'm working on getting this "Great Mattress" picked up but having trouble with the store but that's a whole nother review. I'm sure temper has a awesome line of mattress but I'm honestly disappointed with the Luxe Firm. I will close with this, if you are thinking about a good mattress for you back you may want to stay away for this model you may want to stick to a good old fashion pillow top.

When I first laid on this mattress I was in love. I thought it was perfect. After about a week the mattress got super super soft. I wish it would've stayed like it was in the beginning because now it's too soft for me. Maybe I should've gotten the firm. It would be nice if you knew how the mattress was going to feel when you laid on it at the store. But this one definitely softens up 'a lot' over time. Now I'm stuck with an expensive mattress and I'm just gonna have to get used to it.

We purchased their Celebrity mattress 17 years ago and it was getting time to replace it. We replaced it with a Nectar mattress, but returned it after 2 months due to waking up every morning with excruciating back pain. We replaced the Nectar mattress with a Tempurpedic Adapt hybrid mattress and after 1 1/2 months it just didn't do anything for us. It wasn't uncomfortable, but we missed that sink in feeling we've known for 17 years. I loved going to bed every night on the Celebrity mattress. After speaking with customer service, they said the Luxe Adapt Firm would be more similar to the Celebrity so they offered a free exchange and we paid the difference. The Luxe Adapt is a very comfortable and I "almost" look forward to going to bed every night. It does have some of that sink in feeling, but nothing like the Celebrity. I think if there was a pillow top on the Luxe Adapt, it would have that same exact feel, but I'm not ready to take the risk since the pillow tops are not returnable. Is it worth over $4000? I guess so. We paid $5000 for our king size Celebrity 17 years ago so I guess this is a bargain :) Overall, we like it a lot and glad we paid the extra $1000 over the Adapt. One thing to note is it does appear to be smaller than other king size mattresses we've owned because it doesn't fill out the entire king size bed frame. Our Nectar and Adapt king mattresses fit the frame fine, but the Luxe Adapt leaves about 1"-2" all around the frame.
