We first purchased the tempur adapt mattress in the medium-but upon sleeping on it at home, it was entirely too firm. The rep at the store, said the store models are often softer since they have been in use for a while. So keep that in mind when trying them out. We were able to exchange it for the soft tempur pro adapt and was so glad we did. Yes, this one is pricier, but if you are purchasing this brand of mattress, you better get what works-because none of them are cheap. The soft is perfect, even brand new out of the package. I think it would be simpler if Tempur-pedic only had soft or firm version of their mattresses. The mediums are pretty firm-not much difference between them and the firm. The soft versions are always the most comfortable to me.

Purchased midium Matress ProadaptMD-king with base on August 18, 2021 and after 30 days it was not comfortable and the only other option they gave us was to exchange it for the Firm one and pay the difference. We had paid so much already and we hoped the firm one was going to be better but no way, it feels like sleeping on concrete so firm that it does not even conform to the adjustable base when raised and on top of that it's way too hot even with the cooling protector they sold us. It's so hot that my husband and I are starting to experience kidney pain on one side and my back pain has worsened, If I sleep in my side I feel like my ribcage gets compressed and can't find a good position at all. Paid so much for it trying to find a solution to my back pain. Have contacted Tempurpedic and pretty much indicated they can't do anything about it we stuck with this bed because we purchased through a retailer and they won't do anything about it either. We much rather sleep on our couch now. What a waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is a little too soft, difficult to get in and out of and unfortunately too warm to sleep in...I have to keep the temperature very low in the house while sleeping. The adjustable base is a nice added feature and the pillows are very nice. I will be returning the mattress.

We purchased a Pro-Adapt Firm, knowing we have 90 days to try it and purchase a different model if that one didn't work for us. After a month, we decided to upgrade. The payment system was apparently down and it took a week to get through to anyone to process the payment. We paid over $2,000 more for the upgrade over a month and a half ago. We still have not received the mattress. I've spent 3.5 hours on the phone on various holds over a couple days, only to be told that the delivery company for some reason has not scheduled the delivery. I was told I would get an answer on this and a delivery date within 24 hours. This was a week ago and I am now on the phone again, trying to get through to someone. I've been on hold for ___ minutes so far and still no one was picked up. I'm on an endless loop of an automated message. Do not buy from Tempurpedic online. If I had to do it over again, I would not buy from them at all. This has been incredibly frustrating.

Slept on the mattress 3 months. It's taken a bit of work to break in the mattress. I walked on it for a total of 75 minutes per my salesperson's recommendation. My back feels great most mornings. It's a little more firm than I'd like for side sleeping.

At first I was a bit concern because I have never had a firm bed before. I was so use to a soft mattress that I was wondering if I made a mistake...., BUT now, I wished that I made this purchase a lot sooner... My lower back and legs are so happy now...! I sleep so well especially since I work the overnight shift, sleep is essential.... ! I need my sleep to function on my shift. This mattress makes my sleep during the day much easier to get. Thank you tempur pedic for making a bed just for me....

My husband and I were involved in a major car accident that left both of us with severe injuries, including a broken neck for me. After spending 3 months in a cervical collar and not being able to lie flat, I suffered from many issues that made sleeping comfortably next to impossible. Once I was able to lie flat, I also suffered from positional vertigo. All of my pressure points hurt and I woke up day after day feeling as if I hadn't slept a wink. We finally decided it was time for a new mattress. We went to the mattress store with a Tempurpedic in mind but decided to lie on the machine to see which mattresses were compatible for us based on our body type and sleep positions. Thankfully the mattress we had in mind was on both of our lists of compatible mattresses. When we tested the Tempurpedic, it felt amazing! We decided to get the split adjustable bases. It makes reading in bed at night so comfortable. We now both sleep incredibly. An added bonus is the elevated mattress has almost completely eliminated my husband's snoring making it easier for me to fall asleep at night! I highly recommend this mattress. It has been well worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid King Mattress for about two weeks now. I also got the Ergo Extend Adjustable Bass. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I finally get a good nights sleep. I also suffer from acid reflux and often wake up during the middle of the night with it. That hasn't happened since I got my new bed. Having the adjustable base has really made a difference. I was worried that the mattress would sleep warm due to the foam, but that hasn't been an issue. The only negative thing I'd have to say is in regards to the base. Not a big issue but the included USB Ports are located underneath the base and aren't super easy to get to. I've seen other bases where they are on the side and that would make more sense to me. Overall I'm very happy. Yes the bed/base is expensive but in my opinion well worth the money. I'm wishing I would have bought it sooner!

We have always had a Tempurpedic mattress and loved it. Last year we decided to invest in a new Tempurpedic mattress since ours was 20+ years old and purchased the Split King Firm Pro Adapt mattress and motion base. Worst decision ever!! The firm felt great in the showroom but once we got it home it was super hard! Decided to give it a period of time to break in but time did not help. Now we are stuck with this horrible mattress and new back and shoulder pain. Don't waste your money!!

I have always been a huge fan of Tempur-Pedic beds. We love our new Hybrid. I love that I can't feel my husband move around and that my back is starting to feel better. The firm was a little too firm for us so we went with the Hybrid and love it. My arm no longer falls asleep when I lay on my side with this bed. It's been a game changer for my back. Very satisfied
