[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not so firm as expected around the perimeter as I'm constantly sliding off in the sitting position and it makes me feel very nervous when I'm lying down as I feel like I'm going to fall out of bed. I usually sleep close to the edge of the bed but I've had to sleep about a foot away from the edge to avoid falling about 4 or 5 feet through nightstands to the floor. I've contacted customer service and only got a request for pictures. Pictures of myself falling off the bed? Really? Not satisfied at all at this time.

I knew I wanted a bed that could accommodate all sleeping positions, but be on the softer side. I think this is a perfect choice for people that fall under the same sleep category as me. Pros : Very comfortable, good edge support, great white glove delivery, classic memory foam sinking feel, but easier mobility and bounce due to the hybrid springs. Cons : You never want to leave your bed, probably a bit pricey, my mattress had a pretty strong off gassing oder that lasted for about 2 days. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and have been getting good solid sleep. My only regret is not spending the extra money for the lux adapt to get that extra softness I was looking for.

This bed has change my sleep quality and set a new standard for what a mattress should feel like. I am very happy with my purchase and tempur pedic has earned one more loyal cutomer for many years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been Tempur Pedic customers for +10 years and decided to upgrade to the Tempur Pro Adapt firm mattress. Our previous mattress was medium density but we needed more support after sustaining injuries over the years. I started to have hip pain and my husband back pain. The firm density instantly began to reduce our pain. It took around 1 week to break in the mattress as expected. We are sleeping peacefully and with dramatically reduced pain at night. We are Tempur Pedic clients for life.

We've had this mattress for going on two years, and have hoped that it would get softer and more comfortable in time. It has not, my girlfriend are having back problems and do not get a restful sleep. And it's only gotten worse the longer we use this mattress. I tried to exchange for a softer mattress but the warehouse employee encouraged me not to as the bed would improve over time. It hasn't, and too much time has passed, so now I'm stuck with a mattress with both hate.

This mattress is very firm and does not pair well with an adjustable base,I bought this mattress online so it is not fault of temper pedic,but ultimately I had to send it back. Still trying to find a mattress that will replace my 89 year old mother's original temper pedic mattress she loved but they don't make their original temper pedic mattress anymore and now she has to sleep in an uncomfortable recliner because her original mattress is to worn out to sleep on and hurts her back.

I promise you that you can't lay on this mattress for long before you give into the need to sleep. For me and my wife it is cool, firm but so comfortable. I have had chronic back pain for years but in these last few months I haven't slept better. No complaints from us. G.M.B.

We had a previous Temperpedic that lasted almost 20 years. We looked at other options, but decided to again go with a Temperpedic firm mattress, because of the great quality and long life. This new firm mattress is quite firm, with good support, which we like.

It is a firm/medium feel. You can sleep close to the edge without falling off. My back pain is much less then before. But not totally gone. I have only been sleeping on it for about a month. The big question is, was it worth the money? If you have an extra $4,000 it would be fine. I wouldn't go into debt to get one.

I tried in store, was very comfortable. When this was delivered much to hard. I gave it 4 weeks. Would awake with back pain. They did pick up mattress but had to pay for foundation. $400. They wanted me to pay for shipping but explained I was having to take a day off work to be home. So they did let me out off shipping charge
