It stays cool for about 15 minutes. I love the comfort, but the mattress tends to get to warm. We bought this bed because some of the medications I'm on for my cancer cause night sweats and I thought it would stay cool most of the night. My best night of sleep so far was about 5 hours. Most nights it's 3 hours.

Purchased mattress in 2020 and still too firm. The mattress I tried in the store was not this firm despite being the same model. I have tried everything, including a mattress topper which just made it too hot. After a couple years now, I still can't sleep well, waking up with back, hip, and should pain that I only have after sleeping in the bed. Unless you like a very firm bed, don't bother. I have the soft model and it has never been soft.

This is my 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress, as the others tended to be transported into guest rooms for their enjoyment! I have had multiple knee surgeries, sinus, Achilles' tendon issues. I hike over 100 miles per month. I started out with the original mattress about 2006, then switched to a softer one 5 years later after surgery. I moved recently and sold the mattresses, and everyone wants to buy even a used Tempur-Pedic mattress. I bought the Pro-Adapt because of my activity and age (66). Love it. Never disappointed in their mattresses. I advise to go into a store, take an hour and try out the varieties. You won't be disappointed. Invest in yourself and your body.

Bed is pretty hard and then it sinks in at all pressure points and it's hard to crawl out of the holes. The sheets always pull off during the night. I always wake up with a back that is hurting and this is why I bought it to start with. I am hoping it gets better with age? Can't sit on the edge of the mattress without sliding off of it.

This mattress was a replacement for a warranty issue that we had with our previous Pro-Adapt. The very first night we slept on this mattress, we noted how "hot" the mattress was. We never had an issue with the temperature, with our previous mattress. In fact, the bedding on the mattress was exactly the same bedding that we used with the new mattress. Since that first night, we have had numerous issues with the temperature of the mattress. Either my wife or myself have been kicking the "lighter" bedding off of us during the night, in order to sleep. I reached out to one of your customer care agents to discuss the issue we were having, and that agent forwarded our complaints to someone other than herself. We received an e-mail a few days later, stating that the mattress was a warranty replacement and that we were "stuck" with the mattress. "There is nothing that Tempurpedic will do at this time"! We paid an additional amount of money for the mattress that the warranty did not cover and at this point, I am greatly considering replacing the mattress with another product. This is not our first Tempuric Mattress that we owned and at this point in time it might be my last. You are not standing behind your product and I am sure that this review posted on Social Media will surely sway others from purchasing a mattress from your company. We have the best nights sleep now. We had heard rumors that we would need time to get used to our new mattress. We adapted the very first night. The most comfortable mattress ever. It also only takes us about 2 minutes to fall asleep, no more tossing and turning. We have been married for almost 40 years, so we have tested and owned quite a few mattress and this one is by far the best!

We purchased the Pro Adapt soft mattress after trying one at the local store. Once delivered the labels show it to be the same one but this one is very firm / hard. My wife has back issues and this is making it worse, not better. After a couple months of no change, we have made arrangements with the store to replace it with a different mattress - not Tempurpedic. We had a Tempurpedic years ago but this one was not like it was. Very disappointed.

Great mattress sleep much better at night!! Only issue is the sheets do not stay on. I thought it was the$170 mattress protector that was slipping the sheets off. But it wasn't. They continue to fall off every night. I have the extra deep pocketed sheets too....

I was having pretty severe back pain on rising in the morning. My doctor asked how old my mattress was -- errr, old! So I did some research and ended up buying a Tempur-ProAdapt Soft mattress. Have had it about a month and AM IN LOVE! I had always bought firm mattresses but this soft mattress has a LOT of support and is comfortable the minute I lie down. I have had NO back pain since getting the mattress. None! Love it!

This mattress is very hard and 1/4 way thru the night it gets very hot! The salesperson told us this would not happen with this one, just another misinformation he gave us. We also bought 2 pillows that are not great at all, to flat. Very disappointed in the whole deal.
