[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially got the medium firmness and was able to exchange the mattress for the soft firmness during the "trial period" for a $175 fee, of course. Medium was just a little too firm for us. Customer service was great and accommodating. The mattress itself is amazing. My wife and I are shift workers and have always had trouble with getting a good night sleep. Now that is a thing of the past. When we're home and sleeping on the Tempur-Pedic we finally sleep all the way through the night. It's spectacular

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our five year old traditional mattress with the hybrid - husband loves the way he feels when getting out of bed in the morning, likes how the bed conforms to body shape and really appreciates that he doesn't fell the bed move when wife is restless and is getting up at the wee hours of the moring. Wife enjoys a great night of sleep when she returns home after a week of business travel.

My husband got a medium & I got a soft-talk about perfection! I had a kneecap replacement during the year & I was able to raise my side for comfort without disturbing my husband. Would I buy it again due to the cost? In a heartbeat!!!

This is our first experience with pro adapt firm which we liked immediately when we we went to store to try it out. We previously had a tempur pedic for 10 years. We have only had our pro adapt for a couple weeks and I am concerned that the firmness isn't as good as when we first purchased it. I plan to contact tempura pedic to see what they think may be the issue. We also purchased the adjustable foundation. We love tempura pedic due to injuries to my husband which helps him sleep better. We have recommended these mistresses to all our friends.

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! We bought a Tempur-pedic mattress decades ago when they first came out... Then year's ago we bought a Sleep Number Adjustable bed... Now once again, we own a Tempur-pedic with their adjustable base. There is no comparison to the comfort and the base operates much smoother than the SN.

The mattress is very comfortable, occasionally warm, but not bad at all regarding temperature. We were using it with a mattress pad, but decided to not use the pad and just clean the cover every so often; good decision. Also, the cool contour pillows are excellent. A good investment overall.

It's been almost a month now since my purchase and I got to say it is very very comfortable. I'm a side sleeper and coming from a Beautyrest mattress (which slept warm) of 12 years this Pro Adapt Firm affords a cool comfortable sleep. The only problem I am still having is finding the right pillow to sleep on and I do not know if I'll ever find the right pillow. I have this mattress on an adjustable frame and to tell you the truth you have to get one. Reading in bed, watching TV and zero gravity positions are just so great . I had back surgery 8 years ago , the mattress supports me when I change position at night and my night pains are gone. Look, I always kept a pillow under my legs at night because by morning I was jumping in pain with spasms. now with adjusting the bed heights and raising the mattress by my legs no more spasms. In fact my whole body is very relaxed the next morning and I like that. This mattress and adjustable frame is worth every penny spent giving me peace of mind to pay off this expense over time

This is our second set of Tempur-pedic spit king mattresses. They have been great. Our first set developed a dip in the middle after 9 1/2 years. I contacted the company and they made good on their warranty with no problems. I have recommended their product to several people. We have Tempur-pedic split king beds in two locations and we sleep great in both.

Due to my husband's back issues, we have changed mattresses over the years like we change shoes. He has slept more hours through the night and is rested in the morning for the first time in years. I have not really cared what mattress we had, but now that we have this bed I'll have a strong opinion! We would recommend going directly to a flagship store to purchase the bed. Yes, this bed is more expensive but it is worth every penny. We have spent far more over the years on mattresses and mattress pads looking for a solution and we had no idea we were just wasting money.
