I waited to post this review to give this mattress a good test. We have had it 4 months now and it sleeps great. It's amazing how much more rested my wife and I are each morning after sleeping on our TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid Mattress as compared to our traditional spring mattress. My wide wears a Fitbit to bed and often gets sleep scores in the upper 80s to 90 with this mattress. We added a thin mattress protector so we could fully feel the comfort and coolness of the Tempur foam layer. It's not hot like some foam beds. Free delivery and free hauling away of the old mattress were added bonuses.

I was experiencing sciatica pain so severe that I couldn't get comfortable when I laid down to sleep at night. I tossed and turned trying to find a comfortable position, disturbing my husband's rest as well. My old Tempur-pedic needed to be replaced, I thought. The first night on the new mattress proved me right, I went right to sleep with no problems finding that a comfortable position. While I still have some sciatica issues during the day, I know when I lay down I will be comfortable. We chose this mattress over the cooling versions because what I loved about the old one was the way it kept me warm. This one is just the same, warm and supportive. It certainly changed my life for the better!

This is definitely one of the best mattresses money can buy!!! My wife and I are 100% super-super satisfied with the purchase of our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm California Split King mattresses. One word to sum up how we feel each and everyday we wake up "Refreshed" Oh did I already mention the part how each and every morning my wife and I hate to get up from laying in our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm mattress? (lol). Yes, these mattresses are that darn comfortable! You won't want to get up from laying on it! Highly recommend going to a sleep center and checking it out for yourslef and with Tempurpedic's 90 day sleep trial how can you go wrong?! I promise-promise you won't be upset if you check this mattress out, but I know without a doubt that if you don't you will definitely be missiing out on the best (dab-nab-it) sleep you ever experienced in your entire life! I first purchased a king Cloud Bed in box mattress and literally couldn't sleep for 2 months. I had extreme hip, back and neck pain on my right side and was waking up at 3am every night. I finally upgraded to the Pro Adapt Soft and since then, I've had the best sleep of my life! I know the high end mattresses are expensive but if you're in the market for a foam bed, find the room to upgrade. Pro Adapt is a game changer!

We went with the Temper-ProAdapt Soft for both of us....We love them. More comfortable than our old mattress! We ordered them directly with Tempur-Pedic, and have had a great experience. Definitely recommend !!!

This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've struggled with hip and knee pain for a decade now. I finally bit the bullet and invested in the best mattress I could find. This is by far the best sleep I've had in 15 years. I wake up in the exact position I fell asleep in and wake up feeling rejuvenated and incredible in the mornings. Best money I have ever spent on myself.

The mattress in the store felt much softer than the one we received. We complained and were told it will soften over time. I had my kids pound away jumping on this thing and it has never softened. Now TempurPedic will not honor the warranty. Stay away if you want a soft mattress.

We previously had a sleep number bed that had run it's course....caving in the middle, ect. The first night we slept on this was AMAZING. I prefer soft and husband prefers firm. So we went with this thinking we both compromise a bit. We also ordered this without even laying on! We could feel the difference after 1 night, no body aches getting out of bed, slept well, pure bliss. This mattress feels like it just conforms to your body and you don't feel the other if they move. Soft yet supportive. We also got an adjustable bed to go with, the zero gravity is heaven. If you're looking for an adjustable bed to go with - do it. We were surprised to find that we enjoy the legs being elevated more than the head. BED AND ADJUSTABLE FRAME WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! We also got tempur-pedic pillows that are wonderful as well.

After sleeping on my Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid for a month, I can honestly say that I am very pleased. There was an adjustment period for my body, because I had been sleeping on a too soft mattress, and for the mattress to be broken in. I was suffering a lot of pain during the day from Sciatica, but even during the adjustment period, my new mattress was alleviating my pain, allowing me to sleep. I purchased the adjustable base, also, which I am enjoying, as it helps with back pain and other health challenges. As a 78 year old, I did a lot of research before I purchased, seeking comfort, cooling, and a good investment, and this mattress and adjustable base, as well as the two cooling TempurPedic pillows are just what I needed. I would recommend it.
