We bought our first Tempur-Pedic bed 12 years ago. The foam started to sink and became very uncomfortable. After looking at other beds for months, my husband and I came back to Tempur-Pedic and tried the Tempur-Pedic Pro Adapt Firm bed and that was it. We love our new bed. If you have back problems like my husband and I, we suggest a firm bed. Soft tends to sink after a year or so.....Thank you Tempur-Pedic for making a great bed.

This Proadapt Firm mattress is my 4th in twenty years. I'm am very happy with after 6 nights of restful sleep. It's very solid feel gives me excellent comfort and support. I wake up well rested and energetic for the day. Each day it softens a little to the touch without losing its firmness. I love it. Best mattress ever.

My wife has rheumatiod arthritis. She had been complaining lately that the airbed we'd owned for 19 years was not working for her anymore. We tried out the ProAdapt mattresses and she wanted the soft, while I opted for the medium on a split king with adustable bases. After only one night she said, "I wish we hadn't bought these matteresses." I looked at her with a frown. She continued, "I don't want to get out of bed now." I've had sinus problems all my life. I have found that by elevating the head just a few degrees my nose does not stop up during the night. I can now sleep uninterrupted the entire night.

I was impressed with this mattress on the very first night, and have continued to be impressed. I'd always been a bit skeptical when it came a mattress' ability to regulate temperature and keep a person cool throughout the night. In my head I'd say things like, "Ya, right. I'm sure it's a rip off. There's no way a mattress could do that." But, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and take a chance and my goodness, I'm so glad that I did! I'm happy to admit that I was wrong, but I think my body is even happier! Ever since I switched out my old mattress for my new Tempur-ProAdapt, my sleep has drastically improved. Night after night I'm sleeping cooler, more comfortable, and waking up more rested than ever before.

Had a Tempur for years and recently replaced it - the new "firm" model is very hard and the tested "medium" is very squishy. Neither seem to be the middle of the road that the older models were and we are having difficulty getting used to the firmness of the mattresses we bought. Older now and perhaps have more joint aches and pains but we seldomly wake up refreshed but rather with exaggerated aches and pains. Would try the "medium" but not sure that would be better and don't want to be stuck with that should it not work better and we want to switch back again. The trial period is almost up and we are 'conflicted as to what to do with this very expensive and not so comfortable bed system. Also got a set of the most expensive sheets that were never opened and decided we do not need but the store refuses to take them as a return or exchange so we are stuck with nearly $400 in useless product!!! A decent product but one that requires very very careful evaluation before spending the money they demand. In our case we are not much pleased with the purchase and get poor responses from the retailer.

We purchased a Pro-Adapt Firm, knowing we have 90 days to try it and purchase a different model if that one didn't work for us. After a month, we decided to upgrade. The payment system was apparently down and it took a week to get through to anyone to process the payment. We paid over $2,000 more for the upgrade over a month and a half ago. We still have not received the mattress. I've spent 3.5 hours on the phone on various holds over a couple days, only to be told that the delivery company for some reason has not scheduled the delivery. I was told I would get an answer on this and a delivery date within 24 hours. This was a week ago and I am now on the phone again, trying to get through to someone. I've been on hold for ___ minutes so far and still no one was picked up. I'm on an endless loop of an automated message. Do not buy from Tempurpedic online. If I had to do it over again, I would not buy from them at all. This has been incredibly frustrating.

This bed is way too firm for me. I am 5'5 and 200 pounds, medium frame. I am a side sleeper. I experience a lot of neck, back, and shoulder pain. The recommendation for people like me is a medium firm bed, unfortunately Tempur-pedic no longer offers a medium firm in their new line, so I tried the firm and I experienced back, neck and shoulder pain for thirty days. My husband loves the firm, he is much larger than me though. I then traded the firm for a medium, which is better, but feels like it may be a little too soft, and it sinks down quite a bit, which makes it hard to move and hot. I do not know why Tempu-pedic decided to not offer the most popular mattress feel, which is medium firm, it is also the most recommended by pain doctors and regular doctors. If the medium was just a little firmer it would be perfect. The firm just caused me too much pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress was just the right firmness and not too firm or soft. I like that it's memory foam, so I stay put when I sleep. It's not bouncy like mattresses with springs, so I don't always feel when someone is moving when I'm fast asleep.

To be completely honest when I walked into the mattress store and saw the prices of these mattresses I was ready to walk out and get something more affordable. I purchased a brand new mattress about 3 years prior and since the day I bought it I've woken up in pain everyday and I didn't want to go through that again with a mattress that was more than 3 times the price I paid for my current mattress. After speaking with the sales person about return options and warranties I finally took a crowbar to my purse and bought the mattress. Let me tell you, this is the best mattress I've ever slept on. I wake up every morning and feel great. No more pain or numbness. No more getting massages because my back and shoulders are killing me. This mattress has changed my quality of life so much that if I knew then how great I would feel each day by changing the mattress I sleep on, I wouldn't have thought twice about the cost. You spend probably about a third of your life in you bed, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get a quality mattress because it really makes a huge difference.

From my very first phone call the end, they were professional, reliable, and easy to work with. I purchased a LuxeAdapt Firm first; it was too firm for me. Called within the 90 days, and exchanged it for the the ProAdapt Hybrid. Tempurpedic was so easy to work with! They refunded the difference with no problem to my bank account. Wonderful mattress and great company.
