[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these chairs 20yrs. ago… it has been strong and sturdy and has never discolored and has been easy to clean - so THRILLED they are available again, so I bought TWO - hoping they last another 20yrs., too - Ha!!!

I received my order exactly when I was supposed to. The packaging was bigger than I thought, but it was packaged in a perfect way for the chair. Actually, the chair is bigger than it looks in the picture. It was easy to put together as long as you use liquid soap. I love my chair.

I love the size of this chair because it feels like you're getting something very sturdy. The construction of it look like Igloo cooler, so it really looks like it will hold up to weather, weight, etc. The weight limit says 600 lbs, but but may be too narrow for some; I was fine, but my husband (who is about 340) thought it was a tight squeeze though it felt sturdy.

We have looked at these a lot since Spring but the regular price was too high, and we were delighted to see a sale price in December and bought 4 as a family Christmas present. Recommend a rubber mallet for assembly. With two people, it was easy to get the chair back's side rails into the slots on the left and right rocker sides of the chair, but we needed the mallet to get the rails to slide far enough down the slot tracks so that the seat would fully sit into the chair. Put together, the chairs are very sturdy and very comfortable. The color is exactly as depicted, a standard shade of green which matches perfectly other green resin furniture also on the patio. We are very pleased.

This is a pretty roomy rocker. I like the arms that give good support and are pretty spacious. I read a recommendation that said it was easy to assemble, but the fact is the four pieces that make this rocker up are quite unwieldly, and it is not easy for one person to assemble it, though doable with a little adjacent physical support. Conceptually, it is easy since there are just three steps, but that is different than actually assembling it. I would suggest a pad as the surface is hard.

I was looking for a weather resistant rocker for my deck and this fit the bill. I wanted a chair that could be shipped to my home with free shipping. This chair caught my attention and I was very pleased with the sturdiness and ease of assembly. It looks great and is roomy and sturdy. I am going to order a second chair to have a pair . Thanks

After hunting around for several years - at last! This is the outdoor chair we've been hoping to find! We ordered the "sand" color thanks to other reviewers who said it looks more like light taupe/tan. It does - it's exactly what we wanted. (Apparently the actual "taupe" shade is quite a bit darker.) The chair is incredibly sturdy, comfortable, and easy to put together. It comes in four parts that lock together. One hint - DO follow the suggestion to lightly oil the hinges before trying to slide them in place. It makes all the difference in ease of assembly. The rocker has lovely, wide arm rests. Every member of our family from the shortest (5'3") to the tallest (6'2") can sit comfortably in it. As soon as our first chair arrived, I immediately ordered a second one. I wanted to make sure they'd match - and I knew we'd found the rocking chair of our dreams. I'll be enjoying this on the porch decades from now. My guess is - the rocker will look just as good then as it does now. It's built to last!

I own a chair that we bought 25 years ago. The brand on the rocker no longer markets the chair. I researched several years for a similar rocker. I spotted the chair in a Sam’s club ad as the same chair. The 25 year old rocker lives outside, but still looks new. I clean infrequently, but I now have 3 of these great chairs thanks to Sam’s club. We are pleased! Thank you.

Very nice rocker. Bought one last year and ordered the same color. So now we have two perfectly matched, sturdy, comfortable rockers. Note: My husband had no problem snapping each arm of the chair to the back of the rocker and then inserting the seat. For me, it was too awkward to hold the back while inserting each arm. I tried several different angles to no avail. It's humbling that he put this rocker together in less than a minute. So I would say a basic knack and some strength is required.

This is a great chair and it made in the USA. Thanks Sam's, read the reviews always take them with a grain of salt. I fine that most people have no common sense when it comes to assembling something. Most of the time they never read the instruction because they are so much smarter than the one who designed it. Was able to put this chair together is less than five mimutes, it was so simple. All the parts are labeled as right, left, up and down. I love the storage space under the seat. And yes I am ordering another one.
