At 80 and 75 YOA sleeping is critical to us. My wife is a back sleeper and me a side sleeper and this mattress has proven equal to the task of allowing both of us to sleep soundly and thru the night. Not to soft, not to firm (feel like one of the three bears). We decided on this mattress after some friends recommended tempurpedic. Glad we did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first tempurpedic in 1997 after i lost my house in a flood. Had it until my divorce in 2015, she kept the mattress somehow. Did not get restful sleep until I GOT MY NEW MATTRESS and have been sleeping soundly ever since. My new one is better than my old one. Coupled with the adjustable base and I don't snore as bad, no sore throat when i wake up. If you want a good nights sleep this is it. I don't even get up to go to the bathroom 3 times a night anymore. I suspect discomfort was waking me, vacating my bladder allowed my joints to get back in alignment so I could go back to sleep every night. Now if I wake up I really do have to go. I'm sleeping much better on my Tempur-ProAdapt Firm mattress than I had been on my old and considerably softer mattress. Whether I sleep on my side or back I rest comfortably and awaken without the stiffness I experienced with my previous mattress. This is a fairly expensive mattress, but if you can fit it in your budget it's worth every penny. I don't regret for a moment having made this purchase.

For the price I paid for this mattress I expected it to be much more comfortable. I have been using this mattress for about four months. I sleep on my back and I get up each morning with a back ache. I really did not expect this. I would not recommend this product. If I had to do it over again I would purchase a less expensive mattress and buy a comfortable mattress topper to go over it.

Best mattress I've ever had! Took about a week to break in. Took about 3 weeks for the new smell to subside. Very comfortable, if you are comparing the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid to the Probreeze Medium Hybrid, the Pro Adapt is a tad softer than the Probreeze. Would never buy a regular mattress again, Tempurpedic is the way to go.

This bed is wonderful for my husband who likes to sleep on anything rock solid and generally uncomfortable for the rest of the world. We spent quite a deal of money on this bed after lots of urging from a salesman about how wonderful it would be for both of us. It's not. I like to sleep on a cloud and want to sink into my bed. I thought I could get used to this bed and I cannot. We will be returning to our local Slumberland and getting a replacement of some kind that will allow me to sleep and not keep me awake in pain, tossing and turning. My 6 month old should be keeping me awake, not the uncomfortable new, highly expensive mattress we bought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I love our adjustable Tempur-ProAdapt bed. We are both sleeping much better and we love the remote adjust-ability for each of us. We ordered a split King and couldn't be happier. We thought the split might be a problem, but the beds fit nicely together and we barely notice the split. We highly recommend.

Love the idea of this mattress but unfortunately I wake up every morning extremely stiff and in pain. When initially looking at mattresses and talking with a sales person, we were recommended the soft mattress due to being a side sleeper/ back sleeper at times. Really wish we didn't take the advice of our sales person & got a firmer mattress. My sleep has been awful since & overall quality of life has declined. And unfortunately are stuck with a mattress that we don't enjoy.

With my old mattress I woke up with a back ache everyday. I purchased the Pro-Adept along with an adjustable base and I sleep usually around 5 hrs undisturbed and no more backache! I never slept more that 2 hrs at a time at the maximum before I was up walking around. I feel so rested now obviously I don't need as much sleep as others because before with such broken sleep I was always tired.

When combined with two Ergo Smart bases or Split ProAdapt mattresses (one Medium and the other Hybrid Medium) have virtually eliminated my hip pain and my wife's shoulder pain. The split between the mattresses has not been a problem as we sleep apart most of the night. The 2 Ergo Smart bases with Sleeptracker-AI provide additional benefits including automatic snoring head adjustment upwards which has reduced snoring but not eliminiated it as we have experienced. We would recommend this combination of mattresses and bases to others as we have already. A two happy customers.
