Started with a temper pedi topper and 2 mattresses. This is our third. We are in our 70's Like the firm models.. and the luxe adapt firm is what we purchased. My husband had no problem adjusting, it took me about a week to get used to firmness. But after a week slept through the entire night and every night since. Would never sleep on anything else.

I've had my mattress for a week now and WOW! what an awesome and comfortable mattress! I also purchased the ERGO Extend Smart Base - adjustable bed base - which is also awesome! I've read where allergists, ENTs, etc. recommended an 'adjustable' base for allergies - and LOVE my adjustable base as it has helped my allergies from not sleeping flat or with more than one (1) pillow! Finally I purchased two (2) Cloud Breeze Dual Cooling pillows and these, too, are awesome! No BACK or NECK PAIN from using more than one (1) pillow. The mattress, adjustable bed base and pillows have been GREAT! Improved my sleeping SUBSTANTIALLY! Should have purchased sooner at my brother's advice!

I use to wake up at least 20 times a night and because of that starting taking sleep aides to help (but even then I still woke up a number of times). This new mattress changed my life!! Yes, I still wake up a couple times during the night, but that isn't because I am in pain or uncomfortable. Most comfortable bed of my entire life!!!

We went to the store to "look around" and we met the sales representative who was so friendly and informative about the various products. He made it easy to determine exactly what we were looking for and once we layed down on the bed and operated the adjustable base, we knew we had to get it. It is sooo comfortable and it helps my wifes back issues when she adjusts her side to a comfortable position. We have both enjoyed toe most comfortable nights sleep since we got the TempurPedic bed. It is top quality and affordable.

Before purchasing the Luxe Adapt Soft I had the basic Adapt Medium Hybrid. The new mattress is much better for my neck and back. I have had it for a month now and it is taking some time to get used to it because I have always had a firm all my life, which does provide better back support. Due to my age (77), and my being a side sleeper, the sales personnel recommended the soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I could choose just a few words to describe this mattress it would be a life changer. I suffer from degenerative disc disease and recently had to have ACDF surgery and afterwards went quite a while suffering from lack of sleep because I could not find a supportive, yet comfortable mattress. Let me just say, this mattress changed my life! I was anticipating taking a few months to acclimate to the firm, however after 30 days I literally feel like a new person. I am able to sleep comfortably and all through the night and wake to feel rested and pain free. If there is anyone who was a skeptic as I was at first, I urge you to try this mattress! You will not be regret it!

I love the comfort of the luxe adapt soft mattress. However, I have not slept a full night in the 30 days I've had it. I wake up hot even with a window ac unit in our bedroom in addition to our central ac. It retains heat badly. I've tried 3 different sets of sheets, including bamboo, and a cooling bed cover. We will be going back to the furniture store tomorrow now that our 30 night trial will be over in order to exchange for something else!

I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain all over my body. I haven't been able to sit up straight like a normal human being in over 2 years. It hurts to lay, turn or slightly move in bed. I just bought the tempur luxe adapt soft mattress. It is wonderful. It relieves the pain on all my pressure points. I mean there's not much doctors can do for me anymore. And the mattress does help the best it can for all the pain I'm in. So for me it's the best thing I've had in 3 years to help relieve pressure while I lay and sleep. Thank you tempurpedic.

I originally bought the Pro Adapt Firm and it was very hard and I could not sleep on it. I was so worried about choosing a replacement. I didn't want to get another uncomfortable mattress but I also didn't want to get a softer mattress than I intended because i was scared. I went to numerous stores and studied the layers and finally decided on the Luxe Adapt Firm. It is perfect. Feels firm and support yet soft. I don't want to get out of bed.

This is my first time owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and the hype is all real. My husband who has back problems, feels instant relief, and I've noticed we sleep much deeper with this mattress. We have the firm mattress and it gives us perfect support. We look forward to sleeping in this bed every night!
