It is very firm and comfortable and we are able to get a very restful and comfortable nights sleep. We appreciate that it is well constructed and does not make noise or movement when the other person moves in the bed or exits or enters the bed. We had a Sterns and Foster previously and will never own any other manufacturers product.

My 6 year old queen was still holding strong! My husband and I are Stearns and Foster customers for life! No other mattress brand is more comfortable.

He said it was a great experience. He is considering purchasing one for his home. My daughter requested that I replace the old mattress. She said a Stearns and Foster at her home is the most comfortable one in her house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was one of our top two choices after trying dozens of mattresses in multiple stores. Quality, construction, and materials are all excellent. Delivery speed and setup were A+. Unfortunately, within days, we found many problems that make it impossible to get a good, full night's sleep. 1) Poor Temperature Regulation: became too hot within minutes. 2) Lack of Support: Felt our bodies sinking slowly all through the night, due to the memory foam layers not providing consistent support. 3) Lack of Resilience: After just two weeks, found our bodies had left deep impressions that did not return to normal. 4) Lack of comfort: we have woken with pain in our backs, buttocks, hips, shoulders, and legs. 5) Irregular surface: the deep tufting creates an uncomfortably uneven sleep surface. All these problems persist even after several weeks. This is despite this being exact model that was our top choice in the showroom. The delivered mattress feels as if it contains considerably more memory foam than the showroom model, and all the negative characteristics of memory foam (heat retention, lack of support, feeling of being trapped in quicksand) have proven far worse than our worst fears. We have been forced to buy mattress toppers, mattress pads, and new pillows just to be able to sleep through the night -- none of which we expected from such an expense, high-quality, brand-name mattress. So unfortunately we do plan on returning our Estate Tight Tip Soft King mattress for a refund.

The Sterns and Foster Mattress I bought is my first and boy did I not know what I was missing sleeping much more comfortable and without my neck and back hurting. I picked the estate tight top medium a little weary that it might be too firm since I prefer a pillow top mattress, I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend this mattress to anyone who has back and neck problems and as for myself a side sleeper. Delivery was also white glove treatment and the two gentlemen whom took my old mattress away were very kind in and out! love it Thanks again! David Nixon

We had used a sleep number bed for over 20 years and found that it simply wasn’t giving us the support we needed. We have had the Sterns and Foster for a month now and our sleep has never been better. We would recommend Sterns and Foster to anyone wanting a superior sleep experience.

I had major back surgery in 1999. Bolts, plates, rods… I also have 5 herniated discs in my neck. My docs have been trying for years to help me sleep better and for longer than a few hours at a time. I was down to ONE position of lying only on my right side and waking to a dead shoulder and frequent headaches and backaches. I haven’t slept flat on my back since before my back surgery and injury. I DO NOW!!! I’m taking less medication to sleep and sleeping better and longer than I have in YEARS. My son has been recommending this mattress for years and found it on sale with the white glove delivery as I can’t move it myself. This is the most amazing mattress I’ve ever slept on. My only regret is that I waited sooo long.

I’ve only had this mattress for about a month and a half now but it’s the best mattress I’ve ever bought in my life. Anyone who’s lays on it can feel the difference. Was using mass produced box mattresses for years and a hand made mattress really makes a difference. I have zero back pain and it’s so soft and comfortable. I really hope it lasts/stays durable because so far it has been amazing and 100% worth the money.

As older clients, we are very impressed with the quality and the comfort of the mattress. We also got the moveable frame that allows us to move the mattress head and foot up and down, making it even more usable for us. We no longer have backaches in the morning, and we are sleeping far more comfortably.
