It has a similar perfume smell to the shampoo. I was hoping it would smell lighter since it has black rice, but it definitely has a strong perfume smell.

I thought at first that the packaging was a little manly (maybe bc of the dark shade package) i first used the shampoo and i was so amazed how good it smells! I had issues with dandruff before so ive only consistenly bought one product but now Nexxus changed my mind! It thoroughly cleaned my hair and scalp. Because of hair treatment it left my hair with a lot of damage and it was obviously frizzy too. So im glad i was able to try this out. Then i used the conditioner and i was equally amazed how good it was! I would usually comb my hair before showering cause i would still get tangles while im washing it but this time i didnt comb it and i was able to comb my wet hair. Im very impressed with this product. Even my husband agreed how good it smelled! Definitely going to recommend it to friends and will be my next hair care brand to purchase. Great job Nexxus! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fell in love with Nexus Keraphix shampoo and conditioner. It made my hair so smooth, tamed my fly aways and my hair felt and smelt amazing. It was like the shampoo and conditioner took each piece of hair and coated it in a rich protective layer of holy goodness. I never new a shampoo and conditioner could do this to hair!!

I used this shampoo for the first time on vacation with my aunt and she had it. Before that I had been literally trying different shampoos and conditioners to find one that would work for me. I am an African American woman with dreadlocks and could never find a product I felt did my hair any justice. Until I used Nexxus!!! After the first use I was sold!!! My hair felt so soft and clean! I get a Nexxus shampoo and conditioner for my daughter's oily hair and it works well, so I thought I should try a Nexxus product for my dry, frizzy, dead hair. This sample was fabulous! It left my hair soft, fluffy, and feeling great! I will be buying the full size bottles soon!
