I focused on the ends where the worst damage is. The overall texture was smooth, silky and soft. I'd like to try it again, next time with enough product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the first use I could tell a difference. A slight difference, but one none the less. After a week the difference was much bigger. My hair was noticeably softer and less brittle. I have coarse hair that has split ends from damage, and this shampoo made a world of difference. It was so noticeable that I even google searched it to see how much it costs so I can buy it in the future. The softness happened instant and stayed even after my hair dried. After I washed it, my hair felt silky smooth (when still wet) and once it air dried, my hair still had a smoothness to it. I don't remember the last time my hair has been this smooth. The smell is also pretty amazing and long lasting. I would shower around 6 pm and the next morning when I woke up, the smell in my hair was still strong. I have never had a shampoo before where the scent lingers that strong for so long. It usually fades out, but not this one. It just makes me feel as if my hair is "extra clean" and that the benefits of this shampoo works long after I washed it. Overall, this shampoo is amazing for people like me, who have damaged hair. Yes, it is more expensive than my regular shampoo (by about $6 bucks) but the cost for me is worth having healthy hair. It makes me feel more confident. I used to throw my hair up in a ponytail because it was so brittle with kinks, but now I want to wear it down more. I cannot believe what improvement this shampoo has done to my hair.

Unfortunately, it dried my hair out so badly with just the one use the samples provided that my blonde hair looked and felt like straw. The product is way too harsh. It took me a lot of masks and conditioning to get my hair back to where it was before I used the product. Very sad.

I was all too excited (yet skeptical) when I recieved my little free trial. My hair is pretty damaged due to dying and styling it so much over the years. After shampooing and conditioning, I let my hair air dry. Now, normally when I do this my hair gets kinda of the frizzy side. However, when I did it this time it did frizz at all. It actually looked good, almost like I'd put something in my hair to smooth it out. This left my hair looking and feeling great and I'm hoping continued use will prove the same.

Using the shampoo first gently prepares your hair for conditioning and repair. I love that it has Rice water in it to protect my hair making it feel luxurious.
