[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the sample I received but it wasn't enough to conver my hair. Both the shampoo and conditioner are just enough todo someone's hair with very short hair. My hair is nearly waste length. I didn't like the way it made my scalp and roots feel (as that was all i could wash with the tiny sample I received). It felt very heavy and dull. Oh well. Maybe Nexxus should reconsider the sample size since most women have at least shoulder length hair and require more than the chinsy bit you get in the mail...

As a someone who like to do double shampooing, the sample was definitely not enough for me ( I have shoulder length hair tho) but I can say this; the shampoo smells amazing like a hair fragrance but it is thick and was not foamy enough for me. Also, as a expensive shampoo, I was expecting this product to be sulfate free cause I know sulfate make the hair dry and remove the natural oils from hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] if i am honest i really don't know about this brand and i was really excited to try all these products when they arrived, the first i tried was the shampoo and conditioner and after that i was so impressed because it works with the first application you see results, this nexxus conditioner actually corrects and strengthens my damaged hair. however the price is a bit high compared to others but this product is worth it. needless to say the design is very luxurious.

I bought this shampoo and conditoner last year for my bleached parts of my hair. My hair had been growing out for awhile so I had shoulder length virgin hair and then the rest was previously bleached hair down to the middle of my back. This made my hair start breaking off at the bleached parts until it all fell out and I was just left with my untouched hair. Now I'm having a hard time with my hair being healthy and it's still breaking off and I haven't used this for nearly 7 months. Not sure what happened and why it did this. This also doesn't smell the best.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Within a week of using this shampoo coupled with the conditioner, I started losing clumps of hair. Tears were shed. I don't know what ingredients triggered my hair loss, but everything went back to normal when I switched my hair care routine.

Let me first start off by saying how much I have lived Nexus products just in general & have for many many years my whole family used the stuff. It made my hair feel good but what I did love about it after using it was that I could actually feel how great it repaired my hair & made it feel so soft full of body and super healthy. Now for the not so great news..... ..... Ur website specifically for the keratin shampoo one (black bottle) specifically says in its description & elsewhere that it is considered to be safe for color treated hair & hoes one step further to point out that it is in fact color safe by stating it is a "sulfate -free" product. Ordered. Received. Not happy. I'm staring at the ingredients & from what I can tell, this item is actually NOT AT ALL SAFE FOR COLOR TREATED HAIR. BUT IT HAS INGREDIENTS IN IT THAT R KNOWN TO ACTUALLY STRIP HAIR COLOR FROM IT. AND ITS NOT JUST ONE SULFATE, BUT I THINK EVERY SULFATE KNOWN TO MAN MUGHT ACTUALLY B IN THIS STUFF such as exactly.... - sodium laureth SULFATE - sodium SULFATE There's even some sodium chloride & sodium benzoate which yes is just salt but this on hair dries hair out so it isn't great news either. So my question is why then does the product state its sulfate free essentially safe on color treated hair when sulfates are so bad they actually strip color from the hair?! It would probly explain why my hair color has never stayed as long as others it's noticeable tho. This whole time I just assumed that my hair was to blame...been treating it with all sorts of keratin & protein treatments & here I learn it might not have even been my hair at all. The mkney wasted to fix my hair to accept hair color I can't begin to tell u what that is. I'm beyond upset & so frustrated rt now honestly I don't even know how to use Nexus again after this. I'm praying that I am missing something huge here that is the entire reason for me being here today. Ur not the easiest folks to get a hold of so this will have to suffice & hopeful someone that knows at Nexus can explain this so I can correct my rating & get my overwhelming feelings back in check. Thank you so much for the time & honestly for giving us products we do love cuz my hair felt great when I used ur products. This however would b my 1st time trying the keratin line. I'm not even gonna go back & check the ingredients in the other I'm just going to chalk it up as lesson learned. I appreciate the many years u did this for my hair. That daid, noone I the whole world wants u to achieve that with ingredients that are not fully transparent to the consumer. We always want to know what's in the stuff we use & love. Becuz sadly ingredients have come under scrutiny becuz of dishonest companies. I do not for a min think that is the case here. I'm praying I'm right in thinking this. But only u can help explain this please & that k u im advance for ur time. I do really appreciate the efforts always by folks. But I'm never want to learn that products are in the products I use when they shouldn't be.

I bought this with high expectations and don't think it fully lived up to how to great I thought it would be. The smell is a little too strong for me but it didn't make my hair feel nice and soft although I had to wash it the next day, it felt heavy.
