[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure i did receive the Nexxus Keraphix shampoo as part of a review package for free in exchange for my honest opinion. However the shampoo bottle arrived broken and all over the bottom of the box. I however wanted to give a honest opinion of this entire Keraphix line because my hair sucks and needs serious help. So I drove to Meijer and purchased this bottle. I gave this product 4 stars only because I wasn't super thrilled about the smell or shape of the bottle, but I will get into that. I know this will contradict my previous statement but the look of the bottle is very cute. However the way it's shaped makes it a little tricky to squeeze out of the bottle. The smell is also a little medicinal and reminded me of prescribed dandruff shampoo. With those negative comments you might be wondering why it has 4 stars. Well its because simply it made my hair feel way better and I noticed it from the first wash. I color my hair at home about every month and a half, i hate to get it cut so I will randomly "trim" a centimeter off when I am bored. Needless to say my hair is damaged!!!!!! Normally when I take it out of the towel to comb it, my ends are already dry and frizzy. Not with this stuff and every time I use it I notice more and more of a difference. While it takes my hair longer to air dry I am ok with that because it honestly does look healthier. I also noticed it was easier to comb through my hair after each wash. I used this with the matching conditioner and honestly if you look past the smell, which does fade, it is really good for damaged hair.

This is the new version of Emergencee, which was a much-lauded, just incredible product for damaged hair . This is worse in every way. It’s heavier, greasier, stinkier, and makes your hair feel dirty. I developed an allergic reaction to it as well. Emergencee was perfect, written about in beauty mags and blogs, I am baffled by the rationale for discontinuing it.

The scent was great. My hair felt clean and looked clean which was evident from the volume my hair had. I'll definitely use Keraphix more.

I have been wanting to buy it for awhile but worried it wouldn't live up to the hype. I am so happy to say I was wrong. My hair is severely damaged for a botched bleach job, now I can't stop running my fingers through my hair because I can just not believe what a difference it's made. I will be purchasing, I'm in love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the sample of keraphix a lot although I wish the sample was a for a few days worth. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the fragrance! It was extremely strong vanilla-ish smell. Not my favorite scent, but product seems to work at smoothing my split ends.

Extremely light clean smell with a hint of sweetness. With my current shampoo I have to use 3 times as much product and sometimes wash twice! This will Save time and money!

It didn't weigh my hair down and really defined my waves. Perfect beach hair with out even trying. This is my new holy Grail conditioner.
