I wanted to be IN the bed, not ON the bed, and this mattress feels like a dream! The pillowtop holds me like a baby. Somehow this mattress is soft and supportive at the same time. It pulls you in and holds you just right. Worth every penny. I also got an adjustable base with massage & zero gravity position and I’m absolutely in love! Laying in bed too long doesn’t hurt anymore!

Medium pillow top is more firm than plush. great for sleeping on stomach or back but not so great for side sleeping. recently had shoulder surgery so i have been sleeping on my opposite side but it makes my hip ache after a short period of time on that side. going to keep it because once shoulder is healed, will probably revert to sleeping on my stomach again.

I’m a side sleeper mostly, but I can get comfortable in any sleeping position on this Beautyrest Black. The back pain I’ve been experiencing the last few years upon waking up every morning, gone. My husband who sleeps warm, has been sleeping much cooler since we made the switch. Be warned if you ever need to move it, the mattress is a beast, weighing in around 180lbs. Speaking of size, this mattress is very high, almost 17”. My sheets are deep pocket and say they fit up to 16”. Thankfully they fit the mattress and haven’t worked their way off yet. But beware, you may need new linens.

It provides just enough softness on the surface with a consistent underlying firmness that supports a variety of sleeping positions (we are a back/side sleeper and a side/stomach sleeper). My back is less sore when I wake up in the mornings. Motion isolation is much better than our previous mattress.

It’s like a temperpedic style topper , that can contort to your body . This is great as you don’t disturb your partner when you move . Very comfortable and one of the best bed’s I’ve ever owned . Would definitely recommend!

My husband would happily sleep on a piece of plywood for the support and I prefer something softer since I am a side sleeper. This mattress somehow has won us both over, it is soft enough to be comfortable to me and also has great support that makes my husband happy. I absolutely recommend. The only thing to be mindful of is that this is a thicker mattress so standard sheets will fit, but just barely, so the fitted sheet does come off at the corner every so often for us. Still totally worth it and I will be getting new sheets to fit it better.

The first night my hips hurt (I’m a side sleeper). After a few more nights it became more and more comfortable. We bought a box spring to set the mattress on. The result was a bed so high I need a step to climb onto the bed. We will take the box spring off; after my husband’s back recovers from putting the mattress on the bed. I think the mattress must weigh at least 400lbs! Next time we will pay the extra money and let some young healthy men do the heavy lifting.

Sleeping on it feels like the most luxurious hotel bed, and the motion isolation is so nice. I used to wake up from the shaking of my husband putting on his socks while sitting on the bed, but now it doesn’t bother me because I can’t feel the movement! I’m sleeping through the night since we got this mattress because it’s so comfortable.
