[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a fan of this FamilyGuard Disinfectant Cleaner. I have two little dogs, so being "child and pet friendly" is exactly what I look for in a disinfectant. It also cleans really well. It comes out a foam, which I quite like because you can spray shower walls or the sides of your sink and it clings there to do it's disinfecting job instead of just running down the drain. It removes espresso stains with ease from my easily stainable white laminate countertops. It disinfects my stainless steel sink and makes it sooo shiny. It also works great on the linoleum floors of my little dogs' dog house. My favorite aspect of this spray though, has to be after it's been wiped away. Whatever you clean with it, once you wipe it up it leaves behind ZERO residue. I'm talking squeaky clean, even on laminate, plastic, stainless, linoleum, ceramic tile, EVERYTHING. And the smell! It smells soooo good! It smells way more like a diffuser than a disinfectant cleaner. The ONLY improvement I would make would be the sprayer. It sprays pretty haphazardly and kind of goes everywhere, which is probably because it's foamy but in a spray bottle you usually find liquids in. But if they improve the sprayer this is a HG disinfectant for me and my little dogs for sure. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Family Guard Brand Disinfectant Cleaner is the one that has impressed me the most so far. The Citrus scented one was my favorite of the two, but both scents are mild and neither one caused me allergies . I immediately tried it out all over the house. I cleaned the kitchen, bathrooms, the bannister and railings on my stairs and even walls. It worked well on all the surfaces I tried and best of all, it cleaned grease up like magic! I watched the grease and grime melt away in seconds on my stove. It didn't damage any finishes and I love that it's formulated to use around kids and pets. I would have preferred a more even spray; it tends to come out as more of a stream and an uneven one at that, but it is a great cleaning product and it sanitizes as well by killing up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, so I would gladly use it again in both scents. I definitely prefer this to other competing brands, because it didn't irritate my throat or make me sneeze. I feel safer using it around my family.

I appreciate that it is an aerosol product, making it more convenient to use and clean with. I think the product size is more than adequate, the bottles are huge. I cleaned my bathroom counters with this and believe that it does a good job at disinfecting. I just don't particularly like the scent of this.

However the citrus scent has a more chemical/harsh type smell in my opinion . I would still purchase and use this product. It works great on all surfaces of the home.

I was sent the FamilyGuard Brand Aerosol Disinfectant Spray in Citrus Scent to test out. It comes in a huge aerosol spray can of 17.5 oz, so the can will last a very long time. Citrus scent is a light, more grapefruit smell than orange smelling scent fragrance, that isn't overwhelming at all. I love that it is non-toxic and isn't harmful to children or pets, which is unlike many disinfectant products and cleaners that can not guarantee the same. You can spray this on any surface in your household, including fabrics, counters, stainless steel, and the list goes on and on. This product came into my life at the perfect time. I had a family member get sick with Covid-19 and used only this product religiously. I am very grateful and proud to say that no one else got sick in my household, which is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this product!!! The only caution with this spray is that it can make floors a little slippery if you use too much, so use a light hand when using on floors. 10 out of 10 rating for this product. Go out and buy this today!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have a way to measure this as a disinfectant. I can rate the scent as 5/5 and it leaves very little residue. It doesn't act as a magical cleaner, but does the job as a multipurpose disinfectant.

I have 3 cats at home and when i found out that this is safe around pets i was so happy. My cats health are important to me and with this new disinfectant it makes cleaning easier on me now.
