[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received SC Johnson Family Guard Disinfectant Cleaner in Citrus for free in exchange for my opinion. I was excited to receive this cleaner because it is is safe to use around children and pets but it also can be used on anything from counter tops to floors to your bathtub. This cleaner claims to kill 99.9% of viruses including Covid 19 while being gentle on hard surfaces in your home. When I used this cleaner on my counter top it comes out very thick and foamy, I let stand a few minutes and then wiped with water. Even after wiping with water it left streaks on my counters and I think because this cleaner is a thicker formula. Even though it is safe around children and pets I still didn't feel comfortable putting any food on my counter right afterward. I think this cleaner would work best on floors or in the bathroom where food and hands might not be around as much. As for the smell it was a nice basic citrus smell, it lingered around for a while and then went away. Overall, this cleaner does an ok job but I wouldn't buy this cleaner on a regular basis.

It is not overbearing or too strong, which is great because I have asthma. I was pleasantly surprised by this spray, and love it more than the other well known brand. 10 out of 10!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to clean my shower. Initially, it smelled like a normal cleaner, but once i started scrubbing, it was a light, pleasant citrus smell. After rinsing, there was no residual odor, which i appreciated. The cleaning results weren't any better than most other cleaners, but the fact that it's formulated for pets and children is a definite selling point. The scents are refreshing and not overbearing and they linger for quite some time. It leaves my surfaces and rooms smelling fresh and clean.

The Disinfectant quality gives me confidence that my family is safe from germs and bacteria. The citrus fragrance is really nice. We have used this in our bathroom, on the toilet, shower and sink. We used it to clean and disinfect the cats' litter boxes. We used it in the kitchen to clean the sink, fridge and countertops. All pros and no cons in my opinion. I recommend this to everyone who cleans!

It does not leave a sticky residue on hard surfaces. I am definitely happy with this product and will use it again and again.

The only downside, is it's not safe to use on quite a few surfaces in my home that I would like to disinfect. Basically, any porous substance this cannot be used on limiting the value I find in having these for only certain messes and counters. This has come in great handy as we've cleaned and disinfected several outdoor items.
