Powerful but noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit for our dining room. It certainly does a good job of cooling down the room quickly. However, it is very noisy and we have to talk loudly to be heard over the roar of the machine. Don't even think about playing music or watching TV unless you have it at a high volume.

Great unit

Great unit. I easy to install. My only complaint is that when I originally started it up, the fan was very wobbly and you could hear it throughout our home. It eventually worked its way straight after constant high speed use. Otherwise it's put out wonderful, very cold air.

Easy installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this back in July and it has a lot of great features. Speed of fan can be adjusted, and temperature can be adjusted or you can put it on the energy saver with the touch of the remote. Best of all it was so easy to install. I live in upstate New York so come winter we uninstall the air conditioners and it was just as easy.

Great! First impression

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for a day now. Easy to install, package has everything you will need except tools. First of all I live in South Texas. It's hot and humid most of the time. I live in a tiny home of about 700sq ft. Plugged this thing in set it to 72 economy setting and within 15 minutes it was cool comfortable and the A.C. Was turning off. Its new so I don't have anything to say about if it will last, but LG has not ever let me down on their product. If the start is any sign this A.C.is going to last a long time. Wonderful product so far very happy with it and the price to, also added 3 years next warranty at purchase. I would recommend for anyone with 800 or less sq ft to cool.

An excellent buy

This unit keeps our whole house cool in the summer. While it does make some noise it's quieter than I was expecting. The filter is easy to remove and clean. I'm very happy with it and recommend it to anyone looking for a 115v air conditioner that will cool a large space.

LG Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this window unit to replace a portable A/C that was leaking and not keeping up with Texas heat and humidity. This unit is so cool and comfy! It is a little loud, but the white noise at night is wonderful. I highly recommend this A/C.....I have a large master bedroom and the entire room stays cool at 75 degrees. Easy to install. Wish I would've purchased sooner!

LG is the best kept secret

We have 5 air conditioners in our home. GE and Frigidaire were my first choice of brand based on brand recognition. But 2 yrs ago I bought an LG for my office. It was the best of any I had ever purchased. Quiet and good thermostat accuracy. We just replaced our GE with an LG 15,000 BTU. BEST move ever. It's extremely efficient, cools our entire downstairs and is more quiet than our small room fan - no joke. AND LG is priced well below the better known brands. Don't look any further. This is the air conditioner you want

Worked well until it didn't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased March or April 2018. Ran and cooled well until it crapped out last week. No power. Power at outlet. No reasonable support, other than "service call may be necessary". It replaced a unit that was more than 25 years old.

Great air conditioner

Man this sucker is nice. It is a large unit that has no problem cooling our house down. I love the temperature controls and the remote. Very easy to use. The initial set up takes a bit and you will need 2 people to install. I was planning on taking out each year but with as big as it is I will be leaving it in. Plus you will have to screw in hardware to the window and the siding outside. Set up was pretty easy tho. We are very happy with this unit.

Reliable

I purchased this air conditioner about a year ago. I installed it in my garage because we store food in a pantry in that garage. It has worked flawlessly. The installation was fairly easy and it has sufficient capacity to handle cooling my two car garage which has high ceilings. It is easy to adjust with it's remote control. That is important because the unit is mounted about 10 feet above the floor. Overall, it was a great, economical and efficient unit. I recommend it.
