The unit itself is really nice. Easy to install. But the faceplate is held on my tiny plastic clips. And I broke every one. It's now held on by duct tape. Why too expensive for how poorly constructed it is.

Buyer "BEWARE" !!!!!!!!!!

I bought this window a/c at the end of July and it didn't even last to the first week of October, just about two months ..... Should have known better since the previous LG a/c window unit "same Model LW1516ER didn't last but fourteen months...All I can say is Buyer Beware , this LG product is not worth the money or your time !!!! Energy saver mode comes on every 5 minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner comes on every 3 minutes sampling the temperature in energy saver mode. I hate that. It always bothers me every 3 minutes, so I never use the energy saver mode. Other than that the performance is good.

If you'd like to adjust how it operates, try disabling Energy Saver mode, adjusting the temperature range, or exploring modes like "Cool" or "Dry."
