Great product for price. Husband built a base to raise a bit high for older children. Worked out wonderful. Now ine side of play room a market the other a restaurant. Kids love it

This is the best item we have bought for our kids in a really long time. We bought it for our son but our daughter loves playing with it as well. The electronics are great and its a really nice design. great product.

The store is cute and you get a lot of items, however our register stopped working after the first use. Replaced the batteries and it didn't make a difference. Very disappointing to not use the register/microphone after all the work of assembling.

Putting together for Christmas and the on off switch on the cash register with microphone will not move. Can not turn it on. Also springs in the battery area are broken off. No phone number or email to contact the company

my great grandson just loves this grocery store play center but the scanner broke within 5 minutes and i cant find anyone to fix it or anywhere to buy just that part. I mean i should have to because well it was brand new for christmas but he loved the scan feature so much i would be willing to just buy that scanner part. how can people sell stuff that breaks in 3 minutes. absolutely terrible. if anyone knows where to get the scanner part please let me know. AND it took HOURS to put together so i dont want to take it all down and take it back besides they said they dont have anymore anyway. whoever manufactured these i wish you could buy just the scanner

Bought this as a Christmas present for my 4 yo little girl. Although it took about 3 hours to put together, it seems very sturdy and she absolutely loves it. She played with it allllll Christmas Day! Only gripes so far are the scanner that only works in bright light and the choices on food groups, labels and groceries. It centered around baked goods, sugar and junk which we do not allow in our house and I do not view as items that should be consumed. For this reason, I had to make almost all new labels for meat cheese veggies etc and found new play food at various other stores, saving and taping up real boxes, cans etc from actual groceries. A little annoying, but worked great especially since what was provided looked super fake and were things like “sugar”, “pasta”, “candy”, “baking”, etc.

This grocery store won Christmas for my 3 year old! It is time consuming to put together, not hard but a lot of pieces. Took about 3 hours. I have read a lot of comments where the scanner stopped scanning and we thought this was the case for us after 20 minutes of playing. IT RUNS OFF OF LIGHTS!! Make sure the room is bright. Hope this review helps and that your child has as much fun as my mine does!

We will be calling Sams tomorrow. Have been working on putting unit together for almost 3 hours and get to cash register and batteries were already installed and power switch was on. Batteries have corroded all over and wont work. Battery acid in play credit card also. Surprised it wound be shipped with batteries installed!!?? Disappointing outcome to what looked to be fun gift.

This is by far my favorite product. Perfect size for my 4 year olds. They love that the mic and fake card actually work. Comes with a good amount of accessories and easy to assemble. The register and scanner are really neat and easy to use. I also love that i can use it to help teach my kids how to do basic math and associate words and products to pictures.

It says it takes 1.5 hours to assemble but it would be a lot longer if I could actually assemble the whole thing. Product itself seems good but I overtightened the screws on 2 pieces and they split. They're just thin mdf and split easily. There's no phone number to call so I emailed them for replacement pieces and they promptly replied that they'd send me the tracking number once it shipped. Now it's been over 2 weeks since Christmas and it's still sitting here unassembled and they haven't responded and won't respond to my recent follow up email. I think I'm going to have to return it or live with the split pieces although one is right on the countertop part. During assembly I noticed that not all the holes line up but with a little muscle my husband got it to work.
