For all other consumers: BOOST® products are suitable for lactose intolerance as each 8 fl oz serving contains less than 0.5 g lactose. The definition for “lactose free” is no detectable lactose. The definition for “suitable for lactose intolerance” is less than 0.5 g/serving, as this amount has not been shown to cause adverse reactions to people who avoid lactose in their diet. It is not for those with galactosemia. Keep in mind that Boost is considered a dairy product and would not be appropriate for anyone with a milk allergy.
