I purchased for myself to try and lose weight. Rich chocolate has good smooth flavor. My 14 yo daughter has been drinking for breakfast. I was wondering if there will be a powder product to purchase as may be cheaper than ready to drink? I also purchased some for my 81 yo mother who has low iron and doesn't eat enough during the day. thanks!!

I am a diabetic and I don’t like getting up to a plate of food. I am also trying to lose weight. I faithfully drink Boost Glucose Controlled everyday as a meal (breakfast) replacement. She thought it had a medicinal taste. It did not give either of us a boost and I do not plan to purchase it again. It doesn’t have the healthiest ingredients either, utilizing canola, sunflower and corn oil, along with soy protein isolate. I think it’s a facade to call this a nutritional drink.

The texture is that of a glass of milk with all ingredients and calories listed on the 8 fluid ounce bottle. This drink has good nutritional value and has been a meal replacement for me while on the go. This product does contain milk and soy, 220 mg of sodium, no fiber and 22 percent added sugars. The thing besides the taste that is important to me is that this drink provides 20 grams of protein and 27 minerals and vitamins. Best served chilled. This product is also gluten free. This is a very good tasting drink that has helped supplement my dietary intake and is very easy to drink on the go.

I don't have much of an appetite but Boost always sounds appealing. I love the vanilla flavor and stick with that. I've tried chocolate and strawberry and don't like them as much, but that's just my personal preference. The vanilla tastes like a milkshake and feels more like a treat than a necessity.
