dairy/egg free

These are dairy and egg free! I repeat dairy and egg freeeeee!!! My son has an allergy to both and these are perfect for the days we need a quick breakfast! They are yummy too. Wish they didn’t have the soy but in the end they are a winner for this household!

Alright

These are alright. Not bad when you toast them up. But I didn't like how they already have cinnamon sugar on them. Heating them would just melt the sugar. I would have preferred them separate so I can add them after. Then it would have been perfect! Like fresh cinnamon toast sticks at fast food joints.

They WERE awesome

We've been buying these for over 3 years now. In the last year, the amount of Cinnamon has dwindled so much, I'm surprised they can say Cinnamon French Toast. They used to have at least one side COVERED in Cinnamon and it would get bubbly and crunchy and good. Now there is barely anything on it.

Almost as good as sonic's!

I go to sonic once once in a blue moon for breakfast. And when I do, I ALWAYS order the French toast sticks. They are so good!!!! But of course, they are deep fried. Saw these were highly rated, and decided to try them. Man.... If you are looking for a "healthier" alternative to sonics deep fried sticks, these are it! I put them in my air fryer at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Crispy ends, but soft in middle. And as others have said, no need for syrup! They are sold out currently, but will keep an eye out for when they restock.

Yes and Thank you!

Umm...these are BOMB!! I thought they were going to be like frozen waffles and pancakes. Not the case. You can microwave, but for added crisp, I love to throw them in the oven. So much better! Cooks fast and you get heaps in a box. Great for kid sleepovers!

New recipe? No longer safe for egg allergies :(

I usually buy Members Mark cinnamon french toast sticks for my child, who is allergic to eggs. Unfortunately, I see that this product must have changed, and the ingredients now have a warning that states may contain traces of egg. This is now NOT SAFE for egg food allergies. It was hard to find store bought food such as french toast sticks that was safe for an egg allergy. Sam's Club - be prepared to lose lots of sales on this product that is now no longer safe for a special population of customers. I hope that someone reads this review that can help bring back the original safe product!

Thank you for your response. The recipe has not changed; however, some of our carton labels contain a voluntary supplemental allergen statement such as “may contain” or “manufactured on shared equipment with…”. This is a precautionary label that we implemented on the new carton graphics for French Toast Sticks. We apologize for this change in labeling.

Change it back

I buy these little gems like they’re the last cookie in the jar—they're my breakfast MVP! But what’s this new packaging nonsense? Instead of the reliable middle tab and Ziploc strip, they’ve swapped in a red pull tab that’s supposed to scream “easy!”, but I must’ve missed the memo. I ended up attacking that package like a rabid bear at 5 am, and let me tell you, it was less “sleek breakfast chic” and more “wild animal in a convenience store.” Thanks for the morning workout, breakfast bag!

Best French toast ever!!!

I brought this for the first time last week and one box doesn’t last but a couple of days. Already on my second box. My kids and I love this French toast so much they’ll even ask to have it for dinner! I make it in the oven to give it a nice crisp and the middle is super soft and not over cooked.

good treat

This is a treat for us. We love it but for my kiddos I would prefer a less sugary option. And for us adults I wish there was more in the bag. This comes in 2 bags and it’s easy 3 meals for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). Tastes awesome in the air fryer!

tasty and fast!

Very good! Taste very much like (icing-less) cinnamon rolls, but with a fluffier texture closer to french toast. If you're looking for an on-the-run breakfast, this might not be the best bet, the cinnamon flavoring is on the surface of the sticks and makes them very sticky. But for an at-home sweet snack, these are great! (I cooked for six minutes @ 400 in the air frier, but they seemed done after 4-5 minutes, will probably cook less in the future, they didn't get crunchier, they just got dryer). And they're not kidding about the no syrup needed, I warmed up some syrup to go with them, and it was only a very slight improvement over the dry sticks.
