We had a Tempurpedic mattress in the past, after ten years decided to retire it, and to save money purchased another brand. Big mistake, I slept horribly and tried two different toppers to help, so no luck and with a sore back we had enough. Returned the toppers, it was too late for the mattress. But we went back to Tempurpedic and got this model and we LOVE it! We will never go back. No more back ache and clocking in hours of sound sleeping. Thank you!

The mattress is comfortably soft but firm. The only reason I rated it as less than 5 stars is that it was almost impossible for us to find and copy the serial number so register we could register it. I am 78 years old and had to lift three different corners of the mattress to find the correct label while my wife stuck her head under the mattress and wrote it down. This was very stressful both physically and mentally.

A year ago, we were sleeping on an all foam Ghost Bed and I had lower back pain every morning. We went to a mattress store and did their assessment and ended up with a Sealy Posturepedic Medium Hybrid with an adjustable base. That alleviated almost all of my lower back pain, but I still slept with a pillow under my knees most nights. We have been sleeping on the Pro-Adapt for 3 weeks now and my lower back pain is gone, it seems my support needs are finally being met. My husband didn't experience the same issues as I, but he did comment this is the most comfortable mattress we have slept on yet. I would now pay for the level of quality Tempur-Pedic provides, I'm a convert! For those on the fence, consider this. If a mattress lasts for 7-10 years, your daily cost for amazing sleep is less than a cup of coffee. Would that be worth it to you?

This mattress was a great purchase! Both my wife and I suffer from back pain and this firm mattress that adjusts has improved our sleep tremendously! We love that we can adjust the height of both the head and feet....this allows pressure to be taken directly off of the lower back. The firmness of the mattress did take a night or 2 to adjust to, but we are so happy with our decision.

I have been suffering from back pain for years and had back surgery 2 yrs ago. Before I got my new Tempur-Pedic Mattress I dreaded having to lay down on anything as they would only exacerbate my back pain and even after taking my pain meds I would be up all night in terrible pain. Now that I have my Temper-Pedi Mattress I am able to finally get a good night sleep. I so look forward to laying on it that it has become my favorite place to relax. I never thought that I would ever feel this comfortable again. I am a happy camper now.

Both my husband and I are getting a better nights sleep and have noticed our backs don't hurt anymore when we get up in the morning. We are also sleeping cooler, no more sweating when we wake up. A little pricey, the most we have ever spent on a bed, but I think we made a good purchase.

I agree with so many reviewers....I used to be up and down all night with hip, leg and back pain. Now, I find the mattress supports my whole body and it almost magically has made my pain go away. Not only am I sleeping all night pain free but I also wake up pain free for the next day. I am overweight and found that other mattresses just didn't support like this one. Extra expense, yes......but you absolutely get what you pay for in this mattress!! We were told we had 30 days to decide if we liked it and my husband and I both agreed after just three nights that no one was taking this mattress from us. Love, love, love it!!!!

This review is being written by the person sleeping on this mattress...an 8 year old kid! After a long day at school or day of playing with slime (not on the bed of course) this mattress is sooooooo comfortable. I get the perfect nights rest and don't even wake up in the middle of the night. The smell went away after a couple of weeks, my mom told me that it would and it did. This is my 2nd big kid bed after my crib and it's my favorite. Before I had a latex mattress, it was a nice and all but this mattress snuggles me in puts me to sleep FAST! I think all kids should have a comfy mattress like this one, if they are able to.

The Tempur-ProAdapt firm is a bit fir. But we love it. The mattress contours to your body and then starts to get softer. I'm guessing it get soft around your pressure points. I am a true believer in Tempur-Pedic now. We also purchased the Ergo-Extend base. Love the base, as well. WIsh the base had more functions and a timer. It does have the Sleeptracker A1, which has helped us to sleep better, We also love how the head of the base goes up when we start to snore.

The issue is not with the product. I recently requested an exchange for my newly purchased mattress, to an upgraded more expensive model. Now, keep in mind that it took 32 days to receive my first mattress, including the adjustable bases. (that was also a fight to get) We are coming on 14 days and I still have not received my exchange mattress. I have called more times than I care to mention. Ever time I call, the wait time is awful long. When I finally speak to a "customer" service rep, I get an answer of your order will process in 5 to 7 days, call back. Along with the lovely " have I helped you? and is there anything else I can do?" HA!! You haven't done anything. So, I call back once again. 7 days to be fair. The response, I am sorry, it takes 7 to 10 days for your order to process. So, I call on day 10, then told to call back again. That it takes 10 to 14 days. Today, after being told not once but twice to speak to a special department and being on hold. AND hung up on twice. I am still no where. And calling on day 15. DO NOT, DO NOT purchase from on-line. Find a store, compare your prices. Do not get stuck in this horrible nightmare! When I asked if I could cancel my whole order and how long it would take for funds to be retransmitted. 10 to 14 days.......
