[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We both have back fusions; a good night's sleep was hard to come by before split-king Tempur-ProAdapt. It supports and responds to our bodiEs, even though they are very different from each other. We sleep restfully and don't wake up "creaky".

It was time for a new bed. We had a 12inch memory foam and it was super worn in. We went into the store with open minds on different types of beds. We tried out several different types but ultimately still preferred medium/ soft beds. We tried out the medium hybrid bed with the bed frame that vibrates and lifts the bottom and top mattress. Absolutely love it and I wish we got a new one sooner. Sleep ten times better on it. It's not to soft and not to firm. I have bad shoulders and I'm a side sleeper, not once so I wake up in pain. It's definitely worth every penny.

We checked out the pro adapt at a local furniture store and decided that the firm has just the right amount of softness for us. We compared it to the medium pro adapt which we thought was too soft. All said and done, the firm that we ordered directly from Tempur-pedic has absolutely no softness unlike the one that was in the local furniture store. It is like sleeping on a rock!

I had a great experience at Jordan's furniture buying my temperpedic mattress. I purchased the soft option and should have gone a little firmer. But I made the selection, so I have to live with it. It's far superior to my old mattress. I also looked at sleep number bed, but chose temperpedic.

When I first bought this mattress I didn't know what to think as I have never owned or slept on a Tempur-Pedic mattress before. Our previous mattress was over 11 years old and was an excellent mattress (Lady Americana). We loved it but of course at 11 years it wasn't as comfortable as before. My wife and I went to a local retailer and tested out multiple Temper-Pedic mattresses and decided on the Pro Adapt Hybrid (Queen) as I am 6'2 and 225 lbs. We also purchased an adjustable ERGO base. This has the Zero G function that relives a lot fo pressure from my wife's back as she has back pain due to an accident and major surgery. The first 3-4 months was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. The reason seems to be that the mattress was actually correcting my sleeping position and this caused my lower back to hurt for about 2-3 months intermittently. After that period I sleep like the dead on our mattress, LOL. I will say that sleeping on my back is a little tricky and this mattress doesn't quite support my lower back as much as my old mattress, but I fall asleep on my side and that does the trick. If you are looking for a mattress to sleep on your back and you are over 200lbs, I would recommend the Lux Adapt (Firm), if you can afford it. Its pretty pricey. I have only had the mattress for just under a year so this review is based on that time frame. So far, so good. I would like to give it a few more years and see how well it holds up. Overall it seems like a good purchase and if you can afford it, this mattress seems like a solid purchase, but only time will tell.

We are definitely sleeping better on this mattress. What is disappointing, is that it is advertised to be a cooler mattress. It is cooler if you do not put the recommended mattress cover or any sheets on the mattress. Once you put these on the mattress, it is not any cooler than my other mattress.

Now, I'm really glad I made this kind of investment on my personal health. I work in the medical field and I know all about taking care of your back, and what happens when you don't.

This is a quality product, my wife and I both have never slept more comfortably! My minor back and neck issues disappeared from the first night is sleeping on this amazing mattress. I would recommend this to anyone.

I NEVER write reviews but felt compelled to in this case! I've been to the doctor numerous times in the last 2 years for neck and back pain and taken way more prescribed anti inflammatory pills than I should at 41 years old! I didn't have a clue that my old bed was crippling me until we went on vacation and I slept in a different bed! Long story short-We INVESTED in this bed and I immediately noticed a difference after the first night. I woke up with zero pain and felt more well rested than I've seriously felt in 20 years. Not gonna lie...Dropping that kind of cash on a bed seemed kind of crazy at first and I had a little bit of buyers remorse AT FIRST!!! Knowing what I know now that was just silly!! I honestly don't think I knew what a great nights sleep actually was before! Take that money you were gonna spend on that fancy vehicle accessory or whatever else you don't really need and GET THIS BED INSTEAD!!!! SO WORTH IT!!!!

We had tried many online mattress companies, but in the end, most seemed to just try and copy what Tempurpedic has. We purchased through a retailer store, Denver Mattress, for my wife and I, we have to always try before we buy the old fashioned way. We bought the pro-adapt soft, the most comfortable bed ever! This material hugs you and doesn't sleep too warm, the new cover is very nice and I am glad we made the investment. I slept 12 hours our first night which I haven't done in years! No back or hip pain, this stuff is truly revolutionary. I highly suggest it, get it, it makes your whole day so much better. The soft material really contours to your body and we love that one person can move in and out of bed without disturbing one another. Expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for and can you put a cost on feeling well the next day.
