Have had the mattress set for a couple of months & there was no breaking it in. We love it. It's so comfortable, gives good support & no sagging. I'm a side and back sleeper and my husband is a stomach sleeper and neither of us have had any issues with comfort or support. Hybrid is the way to go. I wish it had handles on the side, but we understand there's no need to rotate it.

I have had memory foam in the past so I assumed that the #1 brand would be even better. It is actually worse I don't get how it could be so bad as it feels great at the store and when you lay down but over night it puts pressures in all the wrong places and you wake up with massive pain. Do not get it!

You don't sink in but you also don't feel any pushing back. The one drawback is that it's a little warm. Usually I can't stand that but I still love love love this bed. I went through several bed in the boxes and couldn't get comfortable before this. It's worth the price difference.

I had purchased the Tempur-Cloud model back in 2013, and most recently the Tempur-Adapt Medium firmness mattress (queen size). Since my initial purchase in 2013 I can no longer look at other beds as purchasing options. What I love about this mattress is that I am guaranteed a great night sleep. It has the perfect firmness. After a long day of work, I look forward towards relaxing on my Tempur-Adapt to read or watch a bit of TV before hitting the hay. What I hate about it, is that I've become spoiled. When I travel to see my parents or siblings for a weekend, the quality of sleep and comfort does not compare to my mattress. When asked to recommend mattresses to friends and family, I always recommend Tempurpedic. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

This bed is so comfortable! I've been sleeping on it for about two months now and not once did I wake up with a sore back. It's very supportive. My only negatives: 1) Break in period. The first night I thought for sure this bed would have to go back. It was so hard. Each night got better and after 2-3 weeks it was much softer and like a new bed. 2) It does sleep warm. I'm a warm sleeper anyway so this would be my biggest complaint. I've had to lower my room temp to 60-62F and use a light blanket. Hopefully come summertime this is not a problem.

My husband was having neck problems sleeping. I was having lower back pain with our old mattress. I dont feel any more pain after switching to this mattress. We both have very physical demanding jobs and train for marathons and triathlons. We are so RECHARGED! Stage 4 every night. It's like having a recliner at the same time. So happy and satisfied customers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress replaced a Nectar which replaced an older sagging foam mattress. The Nectar is also rated as a medium firmness according to various mattress review/advertising sites but it conform to your body much like a slab of concrete does. I've been dealing with lower back pain for several years now and with the Nectar I could only lay on my back and would wake up with more stiffness and soreness than I had before going to sleep. The Tempur-Adapt has been amazing for my back regardless if I sleep on my back, stomach or side. When I go to sleep with a sore back from overuse I wake up with zero pain. Waking up pain free more than makes up for the cost of the mattress.

Finally found the right mattress for cervical/thoracic/lumbar relief for proper rest that I've been looking for. Not too sinky soft, not to stiffy hard but just the right balance to literally cradle my body to get a restful sleep. Great for post cervical spine surgery. Of course the adjustable smart base does make it all that much better.

It only took a couple of nights to realize I had made the best purchase ever. I was waking up every night around 3 in the morning with pain in my hips and back. Now I sleep thru the night without any pain. I always look forward to climbing into my bed and loving a good night sleep. Even a nap in the middle of the day is a treat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my first 2 months (or so) of sleeping on my new mattress were great. the more I used our adjustable bed, the worse of a "sink" spot right where my hips are when the bed is flat causing my back to hurt more and more. so I am disappointed with that aspect of the mattress. I thought it was just my side, but my wife's side is doing the same thing. at this price point, it should not be doing this.
