I've had my mattress and adjustable base for one year. I have always struggled with the night... Falling asleep, waking at the smallest sounds. I am high strung and I've tried many prescriptions, etc. My routine is turn on the sound machine, ear plugs and in bed by 9pm; up at 4am. I can say I am no longer grouchy when I wake. I'm 38 now and I feel the most rested I've ever felt. I use the Tempur Cloud breeze dual cooling pillow (I have a blown disc in my neck) and I put a regular hard pillow between my knees when I'm side sleeping. This bed is worth every penny and I'm so happy I sleep well these days. My remote the base stopped working. I called- was sent a replacement right away. I don't think anyone would be disappointed going with tempur

The bed seems similar to the one we replaced. We had a Tempur-pedic Classic. The deliver went pretty well. However, if you are replacing an old bed, the delivery people should make sure the frame fits the new bed correctly. It does tend to be warm. However, it is not too warm. I just use less covers. It seems comfortable and I can only hope that it does not start sinking like the old one did. The new 10 year warranty is half of what the old ones had. The pillows we got are very nice. The down one is not hard like some of the other memory foam ones are. The cooling one seems to work well for my better half. She seems to like it. Only time will tell. As to warranty, the tags should have been placed either at the foot or on the side. To have to look at information at the head of the bed seems strange. Also, the corners of the foundation say to remove them. However, the delivery people did not remove them.

So I must say, when we first got our mattress it was definitely on the more firmer end. My first night sleeping on it I got a little disappointed. My sales rep Zach, told me it would get softer and had a break In period. I was a little worried at first that we bought the wrong mattress, and online there is a lot of mixed reviews about the mattress being "broken in". I did love the feel of the tempur adapt comfort layer on top. Compared to laying on other tempurpedic mattresses, the adapt had a great feel. Plus it's cooling which was a bonus. I do sleep hot and I do not with this mattress. So in store the mattress was considerably softer that they had on display. Given our first impressions of the mattress we had delivered was a little disappointing. However about 3 weeks into sleeping on it, I notice a difference in feel and the foam has softened up. Honestly, it's just the right amount of support, not too soft. It feels closer to what we laid on in store. I'd say it's a true medium feel and you do sink in just the right amount that it doesn't feel like you're in a hole. I don't wake up sore like I did with my previous spring mattress. My only complaint is that I wish the mattress was a little thicker. It's 11''. My husband is about 230lbs, and he does sink more into the mattress, so I'm hoping overtime he continues to get the support he needs. We are more side sleepers than anything and we do get support but it's most comfortable on our backs. Especially, with my husband being heavier, he doesn't feel as comfortable on his side like he does his back. After sleeping on the mattress for about 3 weeks, I've rolled onto the center of mattress where no one lays to test the difference, and the foam is definitely more responsive and soft! We are happy with our purchase and enjoy our bed much more! It's a peace of mind knowing it's a quality and supportive product. No more waking up sore and stiff. Occasional aches, which can be due to just sleeping funny or not the right pillow! We are happy and the mattress will soften a bit over time.

This is the forth tempurpedic mattress I have bought. It started with my daughter who had serious back pains and after I got her the tempurpedic mattress no more pains in the morning. Of course my other child had to get one along with myself and before you know it four tempurpedic mattresses were bought to ensure when our children come over there is a tempurpedic for them to sleep on. For a great sleep I strongly recomend the tempurpedic mattress.

We got a queen size Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress and foundation. It's so comfortable! I had a hard time finding a mattress that works for me (I like medium soft) and my spouse (who likes medium firm). This mattress has us both happy. We sleep on our backs, sides, and stomachs and have had a really hard time finding the right mattress. You slightly sink into the top layer and can feel the mattress cradle your whole body...right down to your feet. It has a little bit of "give" overall...I think because of the coils in our hybrid version. To me, it has a plusher feeling than the all foam version. My spouse has had two back surgeries...in the lumbar and cervical areas and is happy with the level of support in this mattress. We didn't want to get out of bed this am. (I also appreciate that it's cool to the touch.) We're thankful we found this mattress.

I purchased this mattress to provide relief for lower back pain. I have been using the mattress for about a month now and the mattress does not at all feel like the mattress that I tried in store; the mattress has actually caused more pain in my neck and lower back. A very disappointing purchase.

Mainly I was looking for a non-chemical-smelling mattress, and I first tried a latex version by a different company, which was a wonderful mattress except that my shoulder ached every morning cuz I guess it was too firm. So I returned that one, and tried Tempur-Pedic's Adapt and I've been very happy with it so far. No chemical smells and my shoulder is fine. Yes I recommend this - I'm a 59-yr-old woman, 5'6", 145 pounds.

After our dealer finally delivered the right bed, I personally love it, more nights of restful sleep for me. My husband apparently is never getting a restful nights sleep. This mattress is not cooling by any stretch of the imagine.... I mean unless you sleep on only the mattress. But you see here's the kicker. You have a warranty for this bed, as long as there are no stains etc. So you are forced into buying a cover, which keeps you from potentially staining the mattress but probably obscures the "cooling" feature of said mattress. I'm purely guessing here, but I would think my husband profuse sweating would qualify as a stain which would render the warranty void according to our dealer. So if this mattress really is cooling we would never know. Same goes for these awful "cooling" pillows, they do not work either. They didn't offer pillow covers, so I am sure they are no longer under warranty. Idk its an awful lot of money to spend on the possibilty of a cooling good nights sleep. Not sure I could recommend this to everyone, especially to those without a diagnosed reason for hot sleeping with sweating. Yet I'm happy with this mattress and so is my back, which I have a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease and I usually wake up pretty refreshed and feeling well with my back!

Adjusts to my body perfectly at night. My lower spine never touches the ground when I lay on the ground just because of my body shape. Normal mattresses never supported my lower back resulting in waking up with pain every morning. I am not pain free every morning and have some of the best sleep I've ever had

After about a year. This bed got extremely soft and just starts to sink in. My weight is about 210 and my wife is only about 130 . So I don't think that expensive mattress like this should start to give out this fast . But I have had this mattress for more then 3 years and there are days that I just have to sleep on the floor because. Sleeping on this mattress is crazy painful.
