It has taken a bit of trial and error to learn how to use these effectively, but they are definitely worth the effort. Granted, there are some drips when removed from the coffee pot, but now I can lift the "remains" out and toss the filter with the coffee grounds in a container to be composted. I love not needing to use the plastic pods, especially since I drink quite a bit of coffee, the pods mount up rather quickly, and recycling the plastic is not always possible (and uncertain). Then too, there is an appreciable savings, both monetary and space in the cabinet. I have shared some of the filters with others, but have yet to get their feedback.

Since I live alone and really did not have the need for a regular coffee machine taking up counter space, I had recently purchased a single serve coffee machine which I love. It came with a K-cup holder and a reusable pod filter for ground coffee. I have never really seen the reason of spending a bunch of $$ for K-cups plus they are so bad for landfills. Anyway, the cup for the ground coffee works wonderfully with the exception of having to dump out the grounds and the “muddy” settlement at the bottom of my cup every time. Hence began the search for single serve machine coffee filters. I tried a couple that were complete fails and made bigger messes. Then finally, I came across these from Sam's. Wow! What a huge game changer! They work perfectly, no mess, no mud at the bottom of my cup and so easy to change out. I love, love them! Please always keep selling them Sam's! (the sediment around the side of my cup is from ground cinnamon I personally like with my coffee not coffee grounds)
