I have purchased Sam's Club sheets previously and had great success with them. My former purchases have started to fray after many years of washing . So I decided that I would purchase more of the same. I purchased the Hotel Premier Collection 700 thread count. These are not of the same quality. As a matter of fact they are awful . The material is not terribly bad but the construction and measurements are completely off. The top sheet is not rectangular and the seams are sewn so poorly that they can't be folded evenly. Pillow cases were small , unevenly sewn and the material did not match the sheets. It appeared that they were thrown in as an after thought. I would not recommend purchase of these sheets . I would have returned them had not they been laundered. Very disappointed.

Excellent quality sheets that get softer as you wash them. I have a king and love that there is wide elastic all around and tags that says top or bottom (i know that helps with the queen size.) I saw them on sale and thought I'd try, the price is very reasonable for the good quality.

My sister had some members mark sheets when I visited her. They were very crisp and sleek. Unfortunately these are not. Should have ordered the percales, but they were out of stock. Hopefully these will get better over time, but they are very stiff, and seem to heat up as the night goes on. Color is good ( cream) . I would not buy again.

I would like to share a little sewing knowledge for a couple of less knowledgeable reviewers. For the person who stated the sewing is coming a part after she washed them before using them. What you are seeing is the starting and ending tails of the thread which is always there, if not, seeing cannot begin. The person who sewed it just did not clean it up after finishing it. Which is to cut the tails off. However I would have sent your set back anyway because the sheet you were complaining about, the person has the tension set a little to loose, mostly the person forgot to reset it from a previous project, because it is not off by much. Under this situation I wouldn't expect getting another set with the same problem. If the tension would have been ok, all you would have had to do was cut the threads. This person was having a bad day all around because the back/reversing at the end is supposed to on top of row on top row this is to prevent the thread from coming undone from washings and use. This person didn't quite make the mark. The person who complained about softness. This set did NOT state pre-washed therefore it will have some stiffness until it is washed. Production wise it is easier on the weaving machines if the thread is stiffer, causes less jamming and thread breakage, as well as, less shipping bulk-age, the flatter it lays. So next time wash it first, then complain. At Sam's you can do that and still can return it, just make sure you check the return policy 1st. Because not all things are returnable or they have exceptions. So, please people do your homework learn about what you are buying before you buy it. That includes how things are made. The higher the thread count the better, right? Well that means a whole grunch of little itty bitty fine threads that will break easily and the silkier even cotton sheets will feel and look. Which also means they will be as slippery as silk as well so, if yo like chase your sheets down all night then the hight thread counts are for you. Unless you sew velcro on the bed and on the top sheet, tucking it in is not going to work either.

We just bought a new split king bed and needed sheets ASAP. Have ordered sheets from Sam's before and have always been happy with the quality and feel of their sheets. These sheets did not disappoint! They were thick, well made and soft. They will easily fit the thicker mattresses. Our mattresses are only 13 inches and there was plenty of room for a much thicker mattress.

We purchased these thinking they would be cooler since they are Egyptian cotton, but even after washing them, they feel scratchy and like a thick cotton. I guess the thred count is too low. Idk. Made my husband and I sweat every night we used them. Might be perfect for cold sleepers, but not at all for hot sleepers.

I ordered 2 sets of these sheets for my Mother in law and she loved them so iI ordered a set for myself to try. These sheets feel amazing. When you first get them they do have a chemical smell, but when you wash them that smell does go away. I will be ordering a second pair.

These are exceptionally nice sheets. They are very comfortable after 1 week of using them, I enjoyed the difference from the old set. The old set was also cotton, but nowhere near as nice as these. The sale price was also wonderful icing on the cake! I expect durability since they are 100% cotton, as an added feature.

I understand the need for new colors due the styles and trends changing; however, I needed to replace only my fitted sheet. I believe it was probably defective because it shredded down one side only in a definite pattern, to where it made me believe the for the thread count it should have lasted much much longer. Now that I was offered to complete this complete this review, I wish I had photographed the old sheets to show the defect. So far, there replace sheets, are super soft and have laundry well. I wish I could have waited for the Labor Day sale, because they always have them on sale. So ...overall happy with the sheet set, just not the retail price, because the quality has been reduced even in the few years of the last set I purchased.

i loved them at first but paying all this money for( 2 ) 6 pcs sheet set in within 10 months both sets of fitted sheets began to get holes like runs in them all over . i wasn't pleased with that and i only wash them by there self and use only cold water. flat sheet and pillow cases i still have these are hotel quality 700 threads NO WAY!!!!! THEM KNOWING THERE FITTED SHEET QUALITY NEEDS TO SELL A SECOND FITTED SHEET EACH SET WAS OVER 100.00 I PURCHASE THEY BEST WHENEVER I NEED SHEETS I NEVER EVER HAD CHEAP QUALITY LIKE THIS . IF YOU OWN THESE SEE WITHIN LESS THEN A YEAR AND THAT NOT INCLUDING I HAVE OTER SETS I USED INBETWEEN TIMES
