Well made, well balanced, sharp. Love that there is a self-sharpener in the block, that's a deal breaker for me. These are fabulous knives for the professional or the home chef. Highly recommend!

The 8” Chef’s Knife made short order of my veggie chopping! My daughter has been raving about her set of these knives for a year. I am now happy to say I own a set and they are amazing. Professional grade, smooth, cutting and slicing. It gets frustrating when you don’t have a good set of kitchen knives to use when preparing food and now I have no issues.

The knife block easily stores and sharpens all except the serrated utility knife; all of the edges came so sharp from Henckels that they should not need attention for some time with normal use. Very fine addition and replacement for our old mismatched knives, and much closer to hand. Recommended!

The chef knife was put to the test right away by shucking several ears of corn on the cob. it cut the kernels off quite easily and cleanly. The best part is I don't have to worry about these knives going dull because of the self sharpening knife block!
