I did not want to spend a lot and I really wanted this brand. This was a very affordable purchase for the quality.

My only complaint would be that the block takes up a lot of space on the countertop. Not sure how to get around this, but it seems to take up more space than my previous knife block, which had similar sized knives.

To be honest I have no idea which knife is used for what but with such variety I feel like I’ll have no problem for when I do start cooking! And the sharpening included in the block is a plus.

This set replaces one that I received as a gift. Every knife has broken at the handle. I love that this new has has blades that are continuous to the end of the handle making these sturdy and durable.

I’m using them for simple everyday use so they should be fine. Certainly sharper than any previous knives I’ve owned. Can’t comment on the self-sharpening feature since they are new but hopeful it will help keep them sharp!

I needed something lighter and with slimmer handles for her and these fit the bill. They are a great home kitchen set for average cooks.
