The unboxing experience was smooth and safe. Previously I’ve been using older knives that weren’t super sharp since I couldn’t afford them but now that I graduated college, I decided to spend a little on a new pair. I can say that they’ve been the best purchase I’ve made since graduating and I can’t see myself going back to older knives. With this new pair, they always sharpen themselves so no need to sharpen, just taken out and you’re ready to go. No more slips and half slashes into food (which I’ve cut myself a couple of times because of this) because these new knives are everlastingly sharp.

And the good news: if these knives appeal to you and the price suits you, then you just nailed it. The Definition line of Henckels International is a well-constructed collection of knives. Each knife is made from high quality stainless steel. One piece of this steel runs from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle for sturdiness and stability. The handle is arched to fit tightly into your palm, and is sculpted so your fingers in optimal position. These are excellent knives for daily use. I hand wash all my knives so they look brand new, but they are dishwasher safe.

Time to get rid of all those cheap ones that continuously need sharpening. Very good fell in the hand with a nice balance. I would like them even better is they were dishwasher safe.
