Zwilling does a great job of competing in the value cutlery market. The Henckels International knife lines are always a cut above the competition. This block set is no exception. Handsome knives in a modern looking block that feel good in the hand, are very sharp and has every knife you could ever need. The self sharpening is an added bonus to this block providing you with a sharp knife every time it's pulled out of the block!

This set is such a great buy. German steel knives in a self sharpening block.....amazing. Its a complete set and the block is labeled clearly for each knife slot. The precision sharpener in the slots is made just for each knife keeping them at their best. The block is a nice color and not too large. Looks great on my counter.

I worked in a kitchen for a while and was so spoiled with having sharp knives, so these are a welcome addition. Dry them every time after use, and NO DISHWASHER, you'll have them for years :)

The chef knife was put to the test right away by shucking several ears of corn on the cob. it cut the kernels off quite easily and cleanly. The best part is I don't have to worry about these knives going dull because of the self sharpening knife block!
