Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this product last night. However it was the IEXO not the access stream. It came with its own board and iron holder. I steamed then ironed my husband’s dress shirt. The handle was comfortable and easy to use. It was so convenient to have the board. It plugs in and is easy to assemble. It takes up only a small space that I can place it in the corner or in my closet to keep it hidden. Overall, I’m impressed with this product.

Love this Iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this iron to replace my old one and I have been missing out! This iron gets hot fast and does a great job getting all the wrinkles out of my clothing! It has a beautiful design and fits perfectly in my storage spot where I kept my old one. I absolutely love this iron and I am not a fan of doing it!

great iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron accomplished its task like any other. I ironed 9 non-iron shirts, one cotton shirt, and a pair of cotton chinos. It is fairly lightweight -- the trade-off being I had to re-fill twice to do the job. While refilling I noticed a clever design that I don't see on other irons. This one is refilled in the horizontal position. This means if you're at the bathroom sink, or the kitchen sink is full of dishes, you've got a better chance at filling it up then you do if the iron requires a vertical position to fill. The knob for the head settings was easy enough to switch from the highest setting to a slightly lower setting for the non-iron shirts. The surge and squirt water buttons were in an easy to use location. I never use those buttons, however, so for me they just get in the way of the steam control, which I use more often. The iron has a nice, strong plastic brace to keep the cord from fraying when you wind it around the bottom. It's of the type that lasts about 5 years before you have to wrap some duct tape. I also expect the plastic flap of the water fill hole to break in the next 5 years or so, but it shouldn't affect the operation of the device. One interesting feature is the array of holes on the business end of the iron. They are smaller, and there are more of them than on a typical iron. I fear the hard water in our area will clog them. I suppose it will require some cleaning just like the coffee maker. Another unique feature is the pointy end is a bit more pointy than most, so you can get up in between the buttons and the collar on your typical button-down Oxford shirt. I did test the safety feature. If you leave the iron sitting, it will turn itself off. That includes if you leave it business-side down. It will steam the ironing board for a bit, but shut itself off soon enough. Glad to see that works well.

Best Iron I've Ever Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an Iron because I was tired of trying to steam my clothes quickly before work. I always assumed that steaming would be quicker, and close to as effective as ironing would be. I am able to iron almost anything (slacks, dress shirts, golf shirts, even T-shirts) in such a short amount of time. Nothing looks better than a well pressed shirt at work or on date night. I've been getting compliments on clothes that I've worn numerous times, because they look as if they were professionally pressed by the cleaners. I don't go a day without using this iron! Love it!

very nice iron

So far, I'm very happy with the the iron. The features I particulary like are the amount of steam generated and the shape of the tip. The ability to use the tap water could be a plus but I generally use distilled water due to extreme hardness of tap water in my municipality. The only thing I'd change would be the length of the cord. It is shorter than other irons I've used in the past. I was given this product at no cost in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Quality is obvious when you open the box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Rowenta Access Steam iron in exchange for my trial and honest review. I have always wanted a Rowenta, but always settled for less expensive brands. Upon opening the box, it became immediately apparent that this 1700W Rowenta Access steam iron will serve me faithfully for years and years to come. I was delighted to find that this iron is especially designed to use tap water - I don't have to purchase distilled water anymore! I read the instructions from cover to cover and realize that with the Rowenta Access steam iron, I need to treat it with the care it deserves and it will give me the professional results I am looking for. The sturdy cord is long enough that I don't have to use an extension cord. Hey, let's be honest.....no one really LIKES to iron, but with the Rowenta Access steam iron, I can enjoy the process! My old iron is going in the garage sale bin! Thank you!

Disappointed in this iron

What I am absolutely stunned with is the fact that you made the water container BLACK. YOU CANNOT TELL IF THERE IS WATER IN IT OR NOT!!!!! If I could I'd return it. The iron is fine but the fact that I cannot tell if there is water or not is ridiculous. Then let's not talk about trying to get water in the container. Very disappointed. I had my other Rowenta for years.

Accessteam For the Win!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron does it all. Its worked well on all my dress shirts and pants. Haven't had a crease yet. Easy to use. Does not take long to turn on. Its not as big as my last one which is best case because it fits in my ironing board closet.

Steams well, heats up fast, but sticks to cloth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First up, let me tell you, I love the looks of this steam iron. Beautiful ,clean lines, contrasting colors and innovative shape. Now coming to functionality, this heats up really fast and creates nice and uniform jet of steam which gives the perfect creases I like and removes the creases I dont with no fuss. The water reservoir is large and the additional notch shape at the top provides easy access to hard to reach areas. I love the functionality of this iron. However, I notices that, in my 3 sessions of ironing, this iron managed to stick to 3 items of clothing. I know it may happen due to higher temperature, but let me tell you that I adjust the heat according to clothing and with my previous iron(another premium brand), I never scorched one cloth in the 3 years I have used that. I guess its just a matter of adjustment to the new iron and I will give it some more time, just because how effortless it seems over my previous iron.
