The first thing I noticed is that it stays exactly where I put it. It doesn't slide around at all while I'm working at the sink, which is a major safety plus. The thickness is also impressive; there is a very noticeable cushion to it that provides great support, even when I'm wearing shoes. The gray and white plaid design is subtle and looks great in the kitchen. If you spend a lot of time on your feet while cleaning or prepping, this mat is definitely worth the investment. I would certainly buy it again.

The recycled PU foam is light and airy, not bulky and heavy like other mats. It's very soft and comfortable to stand on and is even low enough that the robot vacuum is able to go over it with ease. The skid resistant backing helps keep it in place and I don't have to worry about accidental kitchen spills as it is waterproof.

I have recommended these mats to a couple of people...

I haven't stood on it long enough to say if it actually takes pressure off your knees, but its not hard or uncomfortable. The pattern is really nice and the green is very light, almost pastel. I do like the non-skid backing on it. It makes it very sturdy. Now, unfortunately, my husband trips on it but thats because he just isnt paying attention.

The sides are like a slanted border and then it has a rectangular thicker cushion mat if that makes sense. It has been quite nice right in front of the kitchen sink and makes washing dishes feel like less of a chore since I get a bit of height and some cushion for the toes. My only complaint is that I wish it was a bit wider to have the perfect fit for my kitchen.
