The base comes with a remote control that lets you control how you want to relax on your luxurious bed to your desire. You can sit up to read a book or do some school work or even watch a little television. You can adjust the base foot part higher than your heart level or the opposite. On top of that you have the massage function with timer. Had a long hard day at work and you just want to relax, take yourself a soothing bubble bath and after pamper yourself with a head to toe vibrating motion massage that is built in this Beautyrest - Black Luxury Base will have you sleeping like a baby. Also has a light under the base with a usb port. Awesome product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the amazing decision to get the Beautyrest Black Luxury Base to match the Beautyrest Black K Class mattress I got a couple of weeks ago. As if the Black K Class mattress wasn't incredible enough, I had no idea of exactly what I was getting when I ordered the base. I knew it was adjustable, but that was about it. What I got was the most beautiful looking base with such unbelievable features! First of all, it's a smart bed, which is crazy in and of itself. And yes, it's fully adjustable, but with a remote control which is insane. So, you can adjust the head and legs however you want to, which is amazing. But then, it also has a lumbar support setting, which is incredible because I recently had back surgery. It also has a snoring setting, so when my hubby starts snoring, I just press the button on the remote, it lifts the head a little bit, and the snoring stops. It's so quiet that it doesn't even wake him up! Then there's the super cool zero gravity setting, which lifts your legs to the ideal position for proper circulation! The base also features two usb ports on each side so you can charge a total of four devices at a time, and an under bed light which is so convenient in the middle of the night so you don't trip over things when you get up. But the best feature of all is the massage! This base has six different massage settings on both the upper body and lower body! You can use them separately or at the same time, which has done wonders for helping me fall asleep. I used to suffer from chronic insomnia. Now, all I have to do is set the timer on the upper and lower body massagers, and I fall asleep effortlessly, and the timer shuts off the massagers after 10, 20 or 30 minutes, however I set it! I have never slept so well in my entire life! I would recommend this base and mattress set to anyone! It's literally sent from heaven! My only tiny complaint is that there is a bit of rattling on the highest setting of the lower body massage, but I have a call in to Beautyrest about it and I'm sure it will be resolved quickly. We purchased the complete Beautyrest Black set. The king size Black series 3 in medium firmness - pilowtop, and two of the twin adjustable Black bases. We have now owned the set for a month. The couple of weeks, I was sleeping better than on my old mattress, however I started to develop soreness in my back around the shoulder area and some arm numbness when sleeping on my side- I attributed it to just needing to adjust to the new mattress. For the record I am a woman 5' 3" and weigh 139lbs. However I wondered if the lumbar bar/rod that is attached and set above the platform itself - which pushes against the bottom of the mattress could be causing this discomfort. In desperation, my husband disconnected the power to the lumbar rod and completely removed the bar from the platform. Bingo, that was it! What kind of a dumb engineer would put a ~2 inch in diameter bar running across base of the bed that then pushes into the mattress above and think that no one would feel it even in the retracted position? My advice for anyone reading is to purchase another adjustable base from either Beautyrest or another company. The mattress is top notch and I do highly recommend the Beautyrest Black series 3 in Medium pillow top. It has fantastic support and yet conforms wonderfully to the curvature of the spine and provide no pressure points to the body.

We can recline , we can be set to “zero gravity”, and we can have full body massages all while laying in the most comfortable positions! The built in USB ports are so handy , no need to have our phones and devices plugged into one outlet , we each get two ! The under bed lighting is a neat little feature ! How great is it to be able to take a peek under the bed to see if a kitty is hiding under there without using a flashlight ? :) Gives a nice little glow to the room when it’s pitch black in here too ! Two months in, the part of the base that holds the mattress is sagging on the side -- more than a couple inches from the middle to the edge. This seems to be a design flaw because it is only lifted from the middle and is not well supported to the edges. I really, really wanted to like this base because it is beautiful, but I don't like the feeling that the bed is rolling me off the edge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a luxury item that I never thought I needed until I had it. The end frame has all the awesome features of a smart bed. I always thought an adjustable bed frame can only adjust the bed According to the sleeping position. But this bed frame comes with a load of amazing features. it has USB ports on either side for easy charging. It also has underbed lighting that helps while waking up for bathroom breaks. Zero g button is an awesome feature that helps adjust the leg position and helps with circulation. It also has a lumbar support setting that helps me to the core as I have disc bulge issues. If all these features we're not enough, it comes with amazing massaging controls. I just need to press a button on the remote control and the bed massages my entire body and puts me to sleep like a baby. The bed frame also supports auto shut down feature of the massaging controls in case it rocks me to sleep and I forget to switch it off which usually happens almost every night. This is an amazing invention and I just can't say enough about it. Truly awesome.

Great base for support and adds some sophisticated styling. Full range of motion and settings and the underbed lights are pretty cool. I wish I could program the underbed lights to come on at night to work as a nightlight when I am going to bed.

This mattress is surely impressive. My wife and I have noticed deeper sleep and waking up refreshed. Here’s to many more nights and looking forward to pulling back the covers.

I have had this for 2 months and it’s the best bed I’ve ever used! How nicely it slides up and positioneds my back! I couldn’t be happier or more relieved and or relaxed!
