It's absolutely Perfect!
These recliners are comfortable & recline almost to a sleeping position. Each chair has its own cup holder & armrest hiding compartment. The leather is soft & it returns to me my livingroom because it's not bulky taking up most of the room.
Greetings! Thank you for choosing to purchase the Larson Recliner by Abbyson. We are pleased to hear that you are impressed with your new reclining set so far. At Abbyson, we work hard to ensure we maintain our high-level standards of comfort and functionality to offer you the best value possible. We hope you choose to purchase #Abbyson again in the future! Great product
We bought 2 sets of these for our theater last November and loved them so much we just bought another set to add to it. Great product and great quality. Plus it was delivered within a week of ordering
Not for Long Term
I bought 2 sets 4 years ago and they are starting to peel in different places. They’re in my media room in which we don’t spend a lot of time in. I expected to last a little longer. Spend a little bit more to get quality seats. I tried to take pictures, but the site wouldn’t allow me to show you how badly the chairs look.
Great value, but out of luck if you need service.
We purchased 2 sets of these for our home theater room. They are a great value for the money, especially if you purchase when they are discounted to $999. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. The middle chair of one set arrived damaged, with hardware and one of the metal brackets and legs detached. We reassembled the unit, but are concerned about its use. I have reached out to Abbyson by phone, left voicemail and emailed. All have gone unanswered for 3 months. I even posted on social media, tagging them. One of their customer service reps responded on my post, but then went silent. I'd really like them to swap out that one damaged chair...
Quality isn't good. Will peel and come apart.
I bought these more than five years ago for our home theater room, but the chairs unfortunately started peeling after four years of moderate use. After they start peeling, it just gets worse and worse and the pieces will start to get all over your carpet. There's really nothing you can do to really prevent it. I wouldn't recommend for anyone looking for long term solution. It's unfortunate because we will have to replace them and are not able to even give them away because of how bad they get with time. I've never had this issue with any types of seating before this.
MJ, thank you for your review of the Larson Power Reclining 3-Piece Theatre Set. We’re sorry to hear about the peeling issues and regret that it hasn’t met your expectations over time. If we can provide further assistance, please reach out to us. - The Abbyson Team
Good HT Seating at a Great Price
I purchased two rows of three for my newly constructed home theater. Great: the price (got it at $949 during a flash sale); all three seats are power with each reclining mechanism on the inside of the left armrest; cup holders and very easy setup (each chair is packaged separately and fits easily through doorways). Setup was a breeze as all that was required was removing the packaging, sliding in each seat back and plugging them in). Good: the bonded leather is soft and overall, has a pretty clean look). Bad: Thus far, I have only opened one row (we are still waiting for some construction to be finished) and after setting them up, I noticed a bolt/screw on the floor, which had apparently come out from the base of a chair where one of its legs attaches. I was able to ratchet it back on and am hoping it stays in place. But overall, I am very pleased with this purchase thus far and would recommend it too those that are seeking a more budget-friendly home theater seating option.

Great Chairs! One problem - missing one power cord
Received this grouping as a wedding gift. The chairs are very comfortable not too big, not too small. Well padded and leather is soft. Very comfortable! Great addition for our home theatre room. Now if we could only use ALL three chairs. Only one problem, three chairs received but only two power cords. Called Abbyson, female who answered customer service line was not willing to help me at all. Refused to explore ways to assist me, said it wasn’t their problem I needed to call whoever sold the chairs. I tried to explain they were a gift she would only say there was nothing they could do I would need to figure out who sold the chairs and see if they could help me! Don’t they manufacture, package and ship the furniture to the store who sells them? Isn’t Abbyson the place that would include power cords? Poor customer service
Great for the price!
I purchased two of these sets on Black Friday 2017 for our home theater. Looking to purchase another set, but they are sold out. Hope they replenish stock!!! I think these will last with proper care. Not for daily use, but they are a great size with nice features. Not too big and not to small for my husband who is 6’. Kids love them and they are holding up nicely to the pounding of a baby and toddler. Recliner function is smooth and most importantly they are comfortable!!! Not a 5 star rating since we haven’t had them that long and I don’t know how long the bonded leather will hold up.
High quality movie theater seating
We're extremely pleased with our purchase. We needed two rows of four to replace our existing movie room chairs so we purchased two of these three-piece sets plus two single Larson chairs. These chairs are built solid and I have compiled some information that I was not able to find from other Q&As posted here. So hopefully this information will help you. 1) These chairs come in three boxes. Some have asked about boxes fitting through certain door openings. We had no problem moving these boxes through a 30" door opening (space between two jams, i.e. the physical door size was slightly larger). W x L x H --> 31" x 37" x 26" (118.8 lbs), 31" x 31.5" x 26 (99 lbs), and 31" x 31" x 26" (97.7 lbs). The weight is printed on the side of each box and it took two people to move each box. I suppose if a single person used an appliance dolly (dolly with a strap/clamp, you could move these yourself. 2) Cup holders are not tapered and are 3 5/8" diameter. 3) Each chair is approximately 65" in length when fully reclined (tip of foot rest to top of head rest). 4) The chairs take approximately seven to eight seconds to fully recline. Both recline and return take about the same time and timing is slightly longer when someone is sitting in the chair vs. doing time tests with the chair empty. 5) Each chair is fully supported and although the chairs hook together with a traditional hook and peg design, each chair has feet which increases the strength and durability of each chair. Best of all, when the person sitting next to you moves (shifts weight, reclines, etc.) you won't feel it. 6) I did not notice how these chairs were powered before buying these and thought this additional piece of information may help. Each chair has it's own individual AC to DC transformer and power cord. They are individually packaged and zip-tied to the bottom of each chair. No big deal but you will need to cut the zip-tie to remove the transformer and power cord. If you plan to conceal the transformer somewhere under the chair, make sure you check for clearances when the chair is in motion in both the fully reclined and non-reclined positions. There is a small green LED light on the top of each transformer to indicate the transformer is powered. After being plugged in for one-day, the transformers remained at room temperature. 7) Each chair reclines to almost a horizontal position. In my opinion, fully reclined would be too far back to watch a movie. If you plan to sleep during the movie, you'll be quite comfortable.
