Brother TN-60 cartridge

I am very happy with my Brother Printer. I've owned it for a year and a half now. It does an excellent job of printing -- nice and sharp. I am also very happy with my replacement cartridge, TN-60, which I just recently purchased. I also like the amount of copies you are able to print from one cartridge.

Brother Toner Saves Me Money

I bought a Brother black and white laser printer six years ago, after having spent a fortune on HP and Epson cartridges, for years. The printer does not miss a beat, and I get more value for the money in purchasing its yield toner, than what I was getting from purchasing the multiple cartridges required to operate other brands of printers.

Original Equipment Manufacturer

The most important words in replacement cartridges. Original Equipment Manufacturer. I worked 17+ years in IT and saw many replacement toner cartridges and saw the problems with 3rd party and "bulk refill" cartridges. The allure is absolutely understandable because of the insane prices of most refills; but what good is saving money on a refill if it tracks toner on every page until you replace it two or three times or once with an OEM? My employer had a contract with a company that supplied REFILLED cartridges and at least half the time they tracked toner on the prints. This meant cleaning the fuser and the paper path and round and round until the inevitable toner re- replacement. Replacing a new used cartridge with a new OEM cartridge always got rid of the tracking unless the used replacement got the fuser too dirty. What a pain. I had the same results after getting a Brother B/W laser at home. I highly recommend this OEM replacement especially since it is a high yield replacement. And it is pricy, but not ungodly expensive.

OEM Works Well

I bought an after-market toner that just did not work and I had toner everywhere! So I bought this one at Sam's and it works great! My last one lasted me 2.5 yrs and I do a lot of printing. Sam's had the best price and could get it to me the fastest. Very pleased.

Built in time limit to these cartridges

This toner lasts forever. The only thing I don't like is that the old toner tells you it is running low and continues to work for another month. There is no indication that the ink is running out as everything printed is still dark. Then one day the printer just won't work anymore until you replace it with a new one. They are pre-programmed to stop working even though there is still plenty of ink in the old one. It wouldn't be so bad but these cartridges are very expensive. I think you should be able to use them until the ink gets too light to use anymore. That's not the case. There's more life for which you pay but you're forced to change to a new one. What choice do you have? None

Brother tn660 toner

The first toner cartridge worked fine, but when I tried to install the second cartridge yesterday, the printer wouldn’t recognize that it was new. I reinstalled it several times, but no luck. I purchased an additional cartridge and it worked fine. Apparently the second cartridge was defective.

Defective cartridge, only buying OEM from now on!

This cartridge caused all prints to have grayish smeared bands on them, giving a bad ‘xerox’ look. I found an article online saying these were symptoms of a defective cartridge and to replace it. So i replaced it with another one from the printer’s direct website and the problem was immediately remedied. It sucks I wasted so much money on a defective cartridge. My recommendation: only buy from an authorized source. This was a ripoff.
